Can't officially give it 5 stars as it is a Christmas present. But item arrived in great condition and very fast...So far very satisfied

It is well made. I will say the gasification was not as great as I expected. I will do more testing and see if the windy conditions and temp was to blame for the low performance, so don't use this review as a deciding factor in buying this to be fair to the seller.

Reviews and everything said ground or outdoor table surface. I even wat hed videos on youtube. I started her up on a picnic table and now that picnic table has caught on fire and left a perfectly round black mark.Still the design on this is better than most. It eats fuel pretty quickly which made it difficult to keep my water boiling when I needed to make sure to have enough dry sticks. I used tinder to start it and even that took a while.Good find for cheap, but I think the renewable resource fires like this are actually not going ti be as reliable for camping as they might say. After trying this out I am not looking for a compact gas stove.

Great littke stove. I have built and used gassifiers in the past and this one kicks butt. The flame output is consistent with little to no smoke or soot.The weight is decently light and easily packs down in the provided mesh bag. It will also fit nested in a MSR 1.1l pot with room for your fire and kitchen kit.Only drawback is that in California fire restrictions limit its use to fall/winter camping for the most part.Definitely worth the purchase, will recommend to all my friends who backpack.

The heater turned out different than the one showbut it's OK

This is a great stove design and it works great. With hardwood kindeling it works best but you can use any sticks and twigs.
