In fact she & all of her friends have passed these books around the whole group & her best friend just gave her an advanced copy of the 4th book for her birthday. These books are worth 6 AR books so they have helped her reach her AR goal each 6 weeks & she reads them willingly which is amazing! After she finishes this series we are going to get Kessler's other series on fairies. Perfect Choice For Young Readers
My 10 yr old daughter is not a big reader so I have searched for something that would interest her enough to help her reach her AR goal in school. I picked up the 1st Emily Windsnap book at the school book fair & she LOVED it! In fact she & all of her friends have passed these books around the whole group & her best friend just gave her an advanced copy of the 4th book for her birthday. These books are worth 6 AR books so they have helped her reach her AR goal each 6 weeks & she reads them willingly which is amazing! After she finishes this series we are going to get Kessler's other series on fairies.

Fun fantasy series
Once again, I find myself reading a children's book series. I enjoy mermaid fantasy in general, so I picked up the first book. I enjoyed the story telling enough that I have obtained and read the entire series. The story telling is excellent and I would recommend this series to girls of grade 5 and above. Throughout the entire series, the editing has been excellent. Better than many books I have read recently.

I loved this book! if your a cat fan then you might like the warriors books. but if you want to read it make sure you get the book called into the wild! you also might like the familiars. it is like a mix of harry potter and the warriors! hope you love all the books that i love!

The whole Emily Windsnap series is very entertaining! A story about a mermaid / human, you know what I think? AWESOME!!! (Honestly, I would rate this a six!)

A great read for youngsters
I have given this book to two of my grand daughters as presents and both have been thrilled to the point where they want to read more by the same author. This is so often the yardstick of the average person in the street who is not able to or interested in giving a "newspaper type" review. That children "want more" is sufficient to mark a work out as well thought out and interestingly written. Judging by the response to further books by the same author bought and given it is not just one book that sows the seeds of enjoyable reading. This series of books is excellent for young people, allowing their imagination to carry them away as they read. DS

I am 9 and I really enjoyed it but I am quite a good refer so I would recommend it for 11 years Really good book Well worth the money Makes you cry sometimes but mostly makes you laugh and you can really paint a picture of what's happening as if you were there
