Get exactly what you expect. No issues regarding noise or breaking or anything. Pretty handy and sound quality is solid.

So I play synth. Do you ever get headphones where you have to rotate and move the jack just right so you can actually hear? Like attaching a fricken EKG? I am using a behringer U-PHORIA UM2 sound card (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EK1OTZC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and KZ ZST Hybrid Banlance Armature with Dynamic in-Ear Earphones (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N0782B3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) as well as a plethora of (mostly skullcandy) other headphones. All of which I ordered through amazon. My goal was to connect my "normal" headphones to those bigass jacks you see guitar players use. The connection is loose. I have to constantly readjust it just so or place something under it to prop it up and get the connection needed for the sound to come through clearly. The jack from my normal headphones just rattles around in there. Terrible connection. All 3 of these items I bought through Amazon, so check them for yourself. Maybe I need an additional piece to get my headphones to work on my sound card, but I was hoping that buying this little thingger would solve my problems. It does not. It only makes me more annoyed an unable to actually make music. Go to guitar center where they actually know about sound cards and stuff and buy ones that actually work, instead of ordering from amazon and hoping they are not crap. (Spoiler alert, they are)

What can I say. They work and they're affordable

Received a pack of 4 as described at the time. Out of 8 different pairs of headphones, only 2 of the shipped connectors worked well with all of them. While the other two adapters left multiple 3.5mm jacks loose and wiggly. This means losing channels, this means fiddling with the jack to get audio to come in at all because the connector is not snug and does not make all the appropriate contacts even 50% of the time when plugged in. Literally half the order was pretty much garbage because they have such a wide variation in quality, which as you can tell, is bad. With this kind of varying quality in a single pack of plugs, I wouldn't personally recommend these if you indeed need 4 of them. BUT, if you are like me and have now tried 3 different cheap amazon 1/4" adapters and received poor fitment every time, at the very least with these you have a 50/50 shot at getting a few good adapters in a pack of 4.

Loved this addition to my vintage stereo equipment. This allows my new head phones to be plugged in on all my equipment. Thank you.
