Mechanix Wear Utility Work Gloves, Medium, Black/Grey

I purchased these Mechanix Wear Utility Gloves in a size Large, and the fit is excellent. They are comfortable, have good dexterity, and work great for metal detecting where I need protection but still need to be able to handle small items and tools. I’ve used these outdoors and they have been a great balance between durability and comfort. They feel well made and durable without being overly thick or bulky. They also don’t get too hot during use, which is important when spending longer periods outside. One feature I really like about this version is the Velcro closure being on the top of the wrist instead of underneath. It makes them more comfortable, easier to adjust, and avoids having the closure in an awkward spot when using them. The price was also better than what I’ve seen them for in stores, making these a great value. Overall, these have been a great addition to my metal detecting gear and I would recommend them for anyone looking for a comfortable, durable outdoor work glove.

These are great work gloves, and I’ve had a pair before. They do wear out eventually but you will get your moneys worth

I do about 18 hours of straight stocking per week at my own job, and these gloves, although high-quality and with good grip, lasted me about 2 months before the fingertips started tearing. Overall, they're pretty comfortable but thin, so be careful in cold environments. They grip well, and I have had zero problems with them besides me getting the wrong fit (I should have gotten a size down, but I think I'm between a small and medium). They're also still usable with the fingers tearing. I just cut the tips off for fingerless gloves. If you're okay with spending $20 every 2-3 months for pretty good gloves, then these are for you!

I love this pair of gloves. They are made good and I have used them many times and they have held up great.

I typically buy about 3 pairs a year. Use them for EVERYTHING it seems. Saved my hands many times from splinters in wood and even nicked with a table saw when I was trying to do something stupid and close and... got the glove but not my finger. for gardening or pretty much anything I do I put them on out of habit and my hands and nails stay in good shape. Why 3 per year? Because they will wear out and I think when planting or around wet stuff doesn't help.. neither does staining wood or glue on PVC pipes, but... not on my hands. Once they get holes in usually a finger tip or two I just replace them. At $20 for a XXL size glove they actually fit my large hands as it is hard to find decent gloves large enough that are too tight and hurt. Think about a golf glove that is too tight... I have actually used these to play golf and... they worked for that on a cold day to... Shot a 78, so it must have been the gloves vs. using only one 'Foot Joy' glove that I need to wear a few times before they stretch out enough. Or the clubs as it sure isn't me :-)

I’ve been using Mechanix gloves for a while now and they never disappoint. Super comfortable, durable, and provide great grip without feeling bulky. Whether I’m working on my car, doing yard work, or just tackling random projects around the house, these gloves hold up like a champ. For the price, the quality you get is seriously hard to beat — easily one of the best values out there. Once you try them, you won’t want to use anything else!

These are great for almost everything, especially if you are of a certain age (70+) and your skin is thinning. I use these for loading magazines, working in the garage, holding landscaping tools, etc. Only annoyance with these is the velcro strap. It's a matter of personal preference, but I have started buying the "FastFit" Mechanix gloves. Easier to don and remove than these gloves with the velcro strap. Oh, the "touchscreen" feature really works. It flawlessly performs on my iPhone 16 Pro Max.

These are my go to for mechanics gloves. I use these all the time and have multiple pairs. Separate pairs for cutting and splitting wood, working on my car and wood working. They are true to fit and don’t fit loose anywhere on my hands. They are as durable as expected
