Are these fountain pen friendly?

They don't absorb the ink very well because they are a bit glossy. But I have been able to use a fountain pen if I write very carefully and wait a good long time to let them dry. It can be a bit of a pain but the art work is worth it.

Has anyone framed these? If so can you share a picture?
