Terminator-HSD Concrete Oil Stain Remover Eco-Friendly Bio-Remediates and Removes Oil & Grease Stains on Concrete and Asphalt Driveways, Garages, Pavers, Patios, Parking Lots and Streets(2 LB)

I can't say enough good things about Terminator-HSD. A couple of years ago I had a 2003 BMW X5 that needed an oil change. For those of you who are familiar with this vehicle, it requires 8 quarts of fully synthetic oil. It took about 45 minutes to do the job in my driveway. After finishing, I went inside the house and cleaned up. Shortly thereafter there was a knock on my front door by one of my neighbors. He pointed to the driveway and the street and said I think your car has a problem. I sure did. Upon closer inspection I determined that hand tightening the oil filter wasn't enough. All the 8 quarts of oil had leaked out! I did my best to mop up what I could with towels and anything else I could find. All down my driveway and into the street was this huge oil stain. I tried about every product I could find over the next couple of days to clean it up to no avail. I almost gave up until I found a video on YouTube showing Terminator-HSD in action. The title was "Terminator HSD Concrete Cleaner Oil Stain Remover." It looked pretty good so I ordered it on Amazon. Given the size of the stain I ordered 3 - 2 pound containers of the product. Until it arrived I noticed people driving by house gawking and laughing at my driveway. Before the product arrived I received a phone call from the company that manufacturers the product. I kid you not! They were calling to let me know there were there to help if i needed it. The product arrived and I couldn't wait to get started. I read the instructions and went to work. Basically you lightly dust the oil stain and brush it in and around until fully covered. That's it. In a few days, I began to see the stain get smaller, and smaller and finally gone. Given the size of my stain I think it took about 2 weeks to completely get rid of the ugly stain. Folks i give you my word, this product is awesome and works as advertised!

I had/have some sort of combination of an oil and wax stain on a limestone mantel (very thick--might have been a wax candle or scent melt, might have been lamp oil) that additionally hadn't been cleaned in 50+ years. I bought 3 products for grease/oil stain removal on stone. limestone is very porous and the stain was thick. The other cleaners + a metal brush + elbow grease did a good job when the stain was on or near the surface. This did an excellent job penetrating below. At first I tried the "dampening every once in awhile" technique but was very disappointed. Then, I left a damp sponge on top of the treated stain. That was the ticket! Makes sense that keeping the bacteria wet would allow it to be continuously active. The result was that the stone in that area was much cleaner and lighter.The shadow was still there but my visit was coming to an end so I put off another treatment for another visit. I experimented with a steam cleaner to see how it worked on that area and the rest of the mantel. The area with the faded stain behaved differently. It took on a whitish hue and dried much faster. I was worried for a quick minute that I hadn't read the label correctly and it had something in it that had etched the surface. Nope, no etching. I suspect that there is still a fine coating of waxy oil in the pores. like I say, another application for another time. I'm going to try doing the whole mantel at once and keeping it wet to see how it works on dirt and grime. The only other cleaner that worked markedly well on grime was ammonia based and had 'amines' in it. It worked better than ammonia alone and not as well with ammonia combined with an enzymatic pet stain remover. It helped a lot on the above surface stain.

This stuff actually works. But, it requires that you follow the instructions to the letter, including misting water on the powder everyday for at least 30 days. If it rains and gets washed away ya gotta start over. We own rental properties and this is the only product I've found that gets the oil out deep down in the concrete. I've tried soaps that are supposed to clean driveways, I even tried gasoline once, but all of them leave a visible oil stain. Again, to keep the germs eating the oil, you'll have to mist the dust for 30 consecutive days to see results.

Okay, it did pull a lot of the oil stains uip but left a light colored powder stain in it's place. It will not remove all traces of an oil stain as the signs of stains still remain after 2 applications of the powder. If you have a large stain you'll probably use the entire container on it, which can be expensive if you need more. If I weren't selling my home and leaving I would have next purchased an industrial oil mitigator to do a more thorough job without leaving this light colored powder stain in the oil stains place. Felt like I was putting beige baby powder on the oil stain.

I take pride in having an oil stain free driveway. Visitors to my home don't usually feel the same way. I caught their leak on the same day but it had been parked and dripped for a few hours already. The immediate treatment and spray brake cleaner and grind in "oil dri" absorbant usually does a decent job if was treated immediately. But because this time it was left for hours, the stain was still there, this was a royal purple oil because it was a very dark purple stain. I found this on amazon and was hoping this product really works or lighten the stain. I left it on for a week, it is very hot during this time and I kept applying moisture about 3-4 times a day but it would probably dry out in an hour. The consistency of the product is a very light powder but after wetting it and drying out it does not get blown out by wind. After straight 7 days of treatment, I decided to rinse it off to see the progress. I am happy to say it is almost completely gone. Oil stain is very easy to see when you wet the concrete but it is even hard to see under wet concrete. I had to mark where the very faint spot is so I could come back and reapply the product. I own many different kinds of cleaner and also a pressure washer. In my opinion pressure washer will remove some but also push the oil deep into the pores so I do not recommend it. This product uses a bacteria is smaller than the pores in the concrete and consumes it. It really saved my driveway and these visitors will be asked to park far and away next time.

This product does not work on my concrete garage floor. Not only does it not remove the grease stains it adds another layer of a whitish stain on top of the old ones. If the seller thinks otherwise they are welcome to come visit me and see for them self.

Until I used this product, I had always thought that it was impossible to get oil out of cement. I thought that once oil seeped down into cement that it was there forever. My truck had a slow oil leak that dropped a few drops every day onto my driveway. Well those few drops a day accumulated over time, at least 2 years before I fixed the leak, into a pretty good size oil stain right in the middle of my driveway. It was embarrassing because I live in community that is only about 5 years old and all the other driveways are pristine, and to add to that our driveways are right in front of our homes, and the oil stain really stood out. Well this product worked perfectly. I followed the directions by, first, sprinkling the product on the oil stain then I swept it with a push broom to even it out. Then I misted it with the mist setting on my hose nozzle. I left it on for a full 7 days, misting it 3 or 4 times a day. At the end of 7 days I swept it up and the stain was gone. It was really gone. I was amazed but still skeptical that maybe the powder was just covering it up and camouflaging the oil stain. So I used the strongest setting on my hose nozzle and hosed it off, getting deep into the cement pours. The oil was gone. I mean totally gone. The water wouldn't even bead up where the oil stain used to be. I love this product, and I'm keeping the rest that I have leftover for any future accidents or spills I might have in my garage.

This product does indeed work! I have used it three times on fairly new concrete with fresh oil spills. Twice were in the summer months and once in the winter. The key to making this work best is to read the instructions and remember to *lightly* spray your application with a mist of water. Water is what activates the enzymes. If you just pour it over the spill and leave it there for weeks you’ll find it won’t work as well and will need much more time. After applying a very light coat spreading it around with a broom (as instructions say “a little goes a long way”) and then misting it lightly with water (not pooling it up or washing it away) and letting it sit for a day or two, is when it works best. Then, you’ll need to reapply it every other day or 3rd day - again very thin, light coat but make sure you spritz it with water each day to help it activate quicker. In the summer months I applied this to a long oil spill every other day and spritz it with water every single day and within 2-3 weeks you couldn’t even tell the oil was ever on the concrete (and this was very new and white concrete!). I highly recommend this product especially over pouring gasoline or cat litter. Nothing worked as good as this and I literally tried every single thing found online. Some did Help but nothing removed it like this product.

This seemed a lot of money for so little product, but follow the instructions to the letter and keeping it "misted " with water and it really did work after a pernicious indoor heating oil leak. Only used about 1/3rd of the container. Smell now gone, so pleased with the purchase.

I tried this "living" product on 4 different concrete suraces of varying ages to remove stains. Not a single stain was affected in any way. I followed the directions carefuly and conferred with my wife who assured me I had finally done something right. But alas...no results. A lot of money for zero value. DONT DO IT

I had a large oil stain that was pretty fresh but had been dropped on for about a month. Shook a small amount of product on the stain and wet it everyday lightly. Month later perfectly clean floor.

A very handy product that really works for removing Engine Oil Marks

I was skeptical, when seeing the photos on the ad. But when I used on my concrete at my condo parking spot, where my car made a large mess. It pulled 98% of it up, incredible. I am sure if I could rinse the cement it would be amazing. I will keep this in my back pocket when needed.
