I wanted a cinnamon candy similar to the consistency of Bob’s Sweet Stripes soft peppermint candy so I purchased these “Stewart soft cinnamon candy”. These candies turned out to be as hard as bricks!!! That's right bricks! The label reads “Since 1922 Stewart’s Candy Company, Hot Cinnamon Soft Candy Balls”! The cinnamon candies were literally So hard they were uneatable. The package had an expiration date of 7/18/21 but After trying the first one it was obvious these things had been stale for quite some time. You would have thought from the hardness of the candies that they were possibly from the original 1922 start up run. I will attempt to send them back and try to recover my funds, however, If the supplier would like to try to ship out another batch I’d be willing to give it another try but quite honestly after reading some of the other reviews my confidence level is low. In all honesty, the flavor is not bad but overall definitely not as advertised. kjb

Really liked this but having trouble reordering

When this came in, the large bucket was generously packed full with candy. It was so full, it almost spilled out when I opened it. Wow! Thank you! Also, thank you for the card explaining how there is a softer bite in warmer temperatures and a harder bite in colder temperatures. I did notice that. They definitely taste great either way and they melt in your mouth. I’m glad they’re individually wrapped to keep them clean. I got a great deal for my money. Thank you!

The cinnamon taste was not very strong. They did not melt and it was a large container of mints that stayed fresh. They were very soft and melted in your mouth, I just wish the taste was stronger. Good quality and large size.

I bought these as a replacement for the BOBS RED HOT CINNAMON STICKS . Not as hot. They are made from Sugar Cane. So to me they taste a little weird, as I'm not a huge fan of the taste of sugar cane. An ok substitute but not great If someone finds a good substitute, hollow at me.

The only thing truthful about the description is that they are soft, meaning they dissolve quickly in your mouth. There’s only a hint of cinnamon present and NO “Hot” whatsoever. Plus they smell funny when you open the plastic tub. There are better Hot Cinnamon candies out there.
