Does the jewelry tarnish???? That’s what I bought it for my silver collection.

All jewelry that isn't gold is going to oxidize and need cleaning. I like to polish my silver every 6 months to keep its natural shine and minimize oxidation. This case is fabulous because I've put much of my most beloved gold, pearl, precious stone and silver jewelry in it for easy access. I love the compartments and I believe it's made more for ensuring that you can keep the various jewelry separated - to avoid scratches - while still nearby, handy and easily mobile. There are tricks too. Wrap your jewelry separately so they don't scratch one another - use either individual little Ziploc baggies or pieces of silk or satin. Remember to view, clean and polish your jewelry at least once per year to ensure your collection stays lovely for its entire lifetime. (P.S. If you do have any that tarnish super quick, have your jeweler check the authenticity of the metal, if he/she determines it to be a fake, many are now having their favorite costume jewelry restruck using precious gems and metals).
