Three Month Review
I've only used the spray for three days but the first day didn't count - couldn't overcome my resistance to spraying water up my nose. But I was holding my head wrong and found videos on the web showing me how to do it right. On the second day I just held my breath and tilted my head to the side and it worked pretty well. In a panic, I sprayed too hard and made my ear pop. Today I did much better. Even when I did it wrong, I had less drainage. I've had chronic sinusitis for a decade and recurring sinus infections. Prednisone knocks out all of the symptoms but they return when the prescription is finished. My doctor also wants me to use Flonase twice a day but I attribute it for my occasional nose bleeds. This nasal rinse relieves me of my symptoms immediately and for a longer period than the Flonase does. I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do long term. Addendum: Been using this rinse for three months now (morning and night). More importantly, I started using Ayr Saline Nasal Gel, With Soothing Aloe, 0.5 Ounce Tube every hour to keep my nasal passageway's moist and healthy. What I found is that it also helps keep them open.

works!
I got my first one from an ENT when I didn't want to use meds for possible allergies. He said daily use would rinse out allergens and sooth the nasal tissues. I have since bought several to different family members for times of congestion. Really opens the passages when dehydrated.

Easy to use
I like this product because you can control the pressure when you squeeze it up your nose. I have tried different ones when I couldn't find AYR. I was glad to find these on Amazon. Tossed the other brands out.

Kit itself is really really good. Makes anti-allergy sprays unnecessary. Help with snoring.
Made a big difference in my overall health. Beats allergy medicines that you have to take forever. Rinsing daily made them unnecessary for me and resolved the symptoms much better, and is obviously natural. The bottle lives for many years. the salt packets are good too, but it's a hassle to keep ordering them. i found that 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt per bottle works just as well. REALLY REALLY help if you get the flu or a sinus infection. in that case, i use them almost every couple of hours. I sterilize them occasionally (esp after i use them when i'm sick after recovering) by emptying them and putting some alcohol in them for a day or so. THey also help reduce snoring if you use them just before going to bed.

Good choice overall
Good value. Takes some getting used to if you typically use the Neil Med bottles but works great. It uses less water and the top opens/shuts which is handy. Also it is dishwasher safe. I've only used a few weeks, but I'm hoping it holds up... So far it seems like it will.

Great for A gentle Sinus Cleanse
I am preparing for a Septoplasty and Turbinate reduction surgery. I was told ahead of time that having a rinsing kit was essential for easing some of the "crusties" caused from the surgery and the splints. As I prepare for my surgery, I have been using the wash for the first time in my life. What a soothing (albeit strange at first experience). My allergist recommended this for me a long time ago -- but embarrassingly, I was a little scared to shoot water up my nose thinking that it would feel akin to pool water, etc. Well, it took just a couple squirts (and a little psyching) to get over it. I am glad I did. I chose this manual method over the machines because I know I can control the flow more easily. It was also substantially cheaper. My surgery is scheduled for 1/15/09 and I know that I will be ready to do the rinses. I'm glad I bought this kit. It was worth it. :)

Helps keep my healthy!
So I ordered this because my doctor recommended I use a nasal rinse to help me with allergies. I have heard a lot of people say that Neti Pots are difficult to use and can hurt. This is neither. I use it in the shower. I just dump in the saline packet, fill the bottle with water, shake, and then spray up my nose while leaning forward. It works great and really clear out all the gunk. I should also note that before I started using the nasal rinse I would get colds and runny noses all the time. In the past 3 years, since I started using the rinse, I have only had a handful of colds. The only thing to be cautious of is how often you use it in the winter with the dry air. I was using it every time I took a shower, and my nose would get uncomfortably dry. When I only started using it every other day the dryness diminished.
