I purchased this LED light to be a replacement for the florescent light fixture I had in my kitchen. This fixture is smaller but provided just as much if not more light than the light it replaces. I just wanted an equal if not better in illumination. This definitely serves it's purpose.It was easy to install with two people. I definitely recommend having two people while installing this light. It's just a matter of holding the light in place as the other person performs the needed mounting and electrical installation work.This light needs to be attached to a light switch, it does not come with any type of switch of it's own. It does work perfectly with a light switch that's compatible with an automation network, which I did do. However, it doesn't come with any such hardware on it's own.I found the light level and color temperature to be perfect for a kitchen or other common area. It does give off a cool white color but it's a nice even color and should compliment any other cool white lights that are close by.Overall, I found it to be a good value for it's price. I'd purchase this product again if I have a use for it.

I purchased two of these to replace standard fluorescent light fixtures in our kitchen. I have basic electrical knowledge and skills, and I was able to install these on my own. I rate the level of difficulty of installation at about 3, where changing a light bulb = 0, and replacing an entire breaker box =10. (I did not want a dimmer switch. I feel certain that would require an electrician, because it appears additional wiring would be required for the dimmer switch.) I have included a couple of photos of the installed lights. Since they were installed in an existing enclosure which already had a diffuser, I did not use the diffusers which were included with these fixtures. These lights are much brighter than they appear in the photos. This was a significant upgrade in brightness throughout the kitchen, and my wife is very pleased. I highly recommend these, and I am certain I will be getting more of them.

Installed above my kitchen sink. Great amount of light for washing dishes. Even provides significant lighting out my kitchen window to the walkway outside. Silver end caps don't fit close to the lens and make it look a bit cheap. That's the only down-side.

Replaced the older fluorescent light with this 2 ft led light and couldn't be more satisfied. Much more brighter & aesthetically appealing and modern looking! My wife can finally see what she's washing & loves it. Ordered a second light for the laundry room and will install it soon. Strongly recommend if you want a more modern look and brighter light for your kitchen or whatever room you plan to install this light in. It does not disappoint!

I bought this to replace a ballast light in my closet. O wow, very easy to install and very bright. Well worth the $

I love my new light in my kitchen!!! It replaced the old fluorescent which was not bright enough. We had an electrician replace it and two more lights and the lights are awesome. Thanks for the fast service and we will be recommending to others.

We replaced an older LED light fixture similar to this one which had ceased working after Hurricane Francine passed. The older one was sorta dim anyway for our bathroom.This one is really bright, easy to install, and matches our fixtures in brushed nickel.Highly recommended!

The fixture is nice and bright. Was easy to install, but there are a few issues I had with the installation. The dimming feature will only work if you #1) have a newer house with the grey/purple low voltage wires or #2) you hire an electrician to install them (unless you can install them yourself of course). I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED when it came in, I read the instructions, and found that out. Had I read some of the reviews or the Q & A section I would have realized that before I ordered it. Instead, I relied simply on the description and missed that. I wished that they would indicate that in they main description. Oh, well.The other problem we had with the installation was that the screws that hold it to the ceiling are barely larger than the hole on the light itself. One screw went right through the hole. I was able to back it back out and it worked fine, but I was less aggressive with the screw driver after that.I would recommend this fixture to anyone as long as they are fully aware of the requirements for the dimming capability. I really wish I had read the reviews. I might have still ended up purchasing it, but I would have definitely looked a bit more.
