I purchased this product because of the quality and of course the great low price but most important the outstanding customer service this seller provides, if you have an issue this seller will go above and beyond to out your concerns first, I will be definitely purchasing more products from this seller, you will not go wrong 100%. Design: This product is designed to work automatically, I don’t need to make any adjustments, the temperature is set perfect for my fish tank and will turn on and off automatically but keeping the temperature stable.

I love this little heater, it works good keeps the temperature steady as long as the lid is on, without the lid it does keep it a little on the cooler side but that makes sense it stays about 75 depending on how cold the room is otherwise it keeps it at the right temperature even without the lid. I bought four of these and have them in all my tanks and they are all doing well! I got them when they were priced at seven something and I couldn’t ask for a better heater for the price! They work good and they do what they’re supposed to. They’re small enough that you can put them in a small tank I have one of them in my 2 1/2 gallon, one in my 5 and a half gallon, and one in each of my 10 gallons, and they all work great! The only issue I’ve had with “one” of them is one came unstuck from the wall of the tank once which didn’t matter and all I did was re-stick it.

UPDATE: when I went to uninstall the non-working heater, in better light, I noticed that A RABBIT HAD CHEWED THROUGH THE CORD! So… disregard the rant below… my bad! --- I needed a small heater to keep an automatic rabbit watering system from icing up. When I first got it, it warmed the water fairly well but then the weather was nice for weeks. Today it started snowing and the temperature dropped to well below freezing. When I went out to check the animals, the water lines were completely frozen and ice was starting to freeze around the pump. This "heater" was completely dead. I'd this for hardly more than a month, and on a Thermocube so it wasn't even powered most of the time. And at the beginning of the week I would have actually needed it, it's failed already! I need a heater that's small enough to fit in the bucket, so I was hoping this would work good enough for a less-critical application than keeping fish at an exact temperature. But I guess the negative reviews were right in this case >:-|

I only have a 5 gallon tank with 3 beautiful fish in it. I have tried every heater avail and either they are too strong and overheat my tank of not enough power and tank is too cold. This is the only one I have ever been able to regulate....5 gall tank

Not good. Used for my 10 gallon and it wouldn’t bring my temperature over 72°. Never get a preset heater. Always get an adjustable one.

I would suggest something with an adjustable temperature. Even in a small 6 gallon this thing struggled to keep the temp at 74 when its fixed at 78 (had the 50 watt). I understand ambient temperature plays a role so may have been too cold inside during the winter but I purchased a hygger as a replacement . I’ll still use this on occasion to quickly get new water up to temp.

I have been using this product for years now and recently realized it is quite a bit cheaper on amazon than other places so I bought it from here. The product did come damaged, but that was on whoever packaged it so I'm not docking points off because of human error, not the product's fault. So anyways, as I said, I've been using this for years now. Probably close to four years to be exact, and I really love this heater. I have tried others that weren't preset, but they were never as accurate as these. Sometimes, they do screw up after a long time of use and start to overheat the tank (which is where having a thermometer in place comes in handy). However, that usually happens after having the product for over a year, and if it happens before that Aqueon's customer service is more than happy and willing to send you a replacement. All you need for that is a picture of your receipt (whether digital or a physical copy) or to send a picture of the electrical wire cut as to make sure you aren't scamming them. I have dealt with their customer service a few times for various reasons and they are always timely and get back to you right away. I use this heater on all my tanks from my hospital tank of .7 gals (don't worry I don't put anything other than a betta in that little hospital tank) to my 10 gallon tanks. I can't attest to any of the larger ones other than the 50W heater as I sadly don't have room for a bigger tank until I move out, but it truly is wonderful in my smaller tanks. The only con I have is that the suction cup doesn't work super amazing after having it on the tank for a year, but I honestly don't care too much about it being perfect in the tank the exact way I want it. So long as it's in there and doing what needs to be done I don't care :D

Es la primera vez que compro un calentador con la temperatura ya seleccionada y quede muy satisfecho cumple con lo se ofrece, lo uso en un nano de 40 litros y funcionando perfecto... llega a la temperatura y se apaga.

Only had it for a few days, but seems to be working well... shuts itself off when it should, keeping the water temp stable. Nice design, not too big, unobtrusive! Great value for the money!🤓

Mantiene a muy buena temperatura el agua de mis peces incluso en temporada de frío. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Had it for a month now. It works really well. Shuts off when the temp is 78 degrees. It's strong and small and my fish seems to like chilling beside it haha. I would recommend it.

Perfect little heater! I have it in a 5g, and it keeps it right at 78 with zero maintenance. Doesn’t look big or take up any room, which is what I was worried about.
