Incredible packaging, the unit is just a tank and built right from the start. Easy to put together, heavy as hell....(Which is a GOOD THING). Now I'm wondering why I waited so long to get on the Grizzly train. Most if not all of my future shop needs I am going to seriously consider their offerings.

Let's face it no company is perfect and no person is either but makes a great company stand out from the bad ones is how they correct the situation a costmer has. I have to say that I purchase a lot of items from Amazon even before this virus brought the world to a stand still. Looking back at the years of purchases from big to small I have been very fortunate to not have an expensive product have a problem. Before I go any further let me tell you that if you are looking for a great bandsaw at an affordable price this is the best bang for your buck. The rest of this review is about how a company recovers from a "fumble". This was not your typical fumble this was one of those that one of the one that makes news reels for decades. I speed through the first part of story so I don't bore you after calling Grizzly and inquiring about my saw and being redirected to call the freight company the saw was officially lost. How does a freight company loose a 250 pound saw? But that's a story for another day. I was at a 8.5 on the Richter scale if you could imagine. I called Amazon and asked for a full refund for saw and the 2 other upgrades I had purchased from Grizzly. The day I packed the 2 up grades up and dropped them off at the closest UPS store which is a 30 minute drive when I get back home the saw is sitting in the middle of the driveway mind you the freight company is supposed to call the day before and set up a drop off appointment with you and, and thus is a big AND have signature confirmation from me that received the saw. I know a lot of you are thinking if I don't say anything Grizzly has no proof I ever received the saw. The thought did cross my mind but I believe in karma and knew that the saw would one day take a few of my fingers if I lied about it. So again shoeting the story get the thing put together and the saw shock so violently the I quickly shut it down before it jumped out the window. I left out the part the crate was also damaged. All of this to this point is all on the freight Co. In my book they are officially the dumbest, most unreliable freight Co. In the known universe if penn is part of the name request a new fieght co. Back to the saw after being on the with Grizzly Tech. Which I could write a review about how great they are, they concluded that the bottom wheel was damaged. They overnight a 25 pound cast iron wheel (must have cost them over a $100) . The story doesn't end there change wheel nope didn't fix problems. Have I told you that I am on week 6 with this thing. After 2 days of me upset beyond upset Grizzly decided to send me a new saw. Through out this whole ordeal I was in constant contact with the manager of "Activities" its Grizzlys cute name for customers with problems. They used a different freight co and had my new saw here in 4 days MI to ME. In 4 days is great. Jean and Grizzly stayed on top of the situation and did everything they could to make sure I received a saw. They also had a little surprise for me in the mail which made it a little bit better. For those of you who gave/give a company a negative review because of shipping you are completely off mark. They have no control over their products once it leaves the warehouse, yes the delivery co. No matter which one is in fact acting as an agent of the company but you are hurting the company. It's like you punching joe in the face because Rogers threw a rock at you.If you are still reading God bless you....facts about the saw.Blade that comes with it sucks do yourself a favor order a few different sizes.The saw in no way comes to you ready to use the table is covered in a thick oil for protection use acetone to clean it then a good coat of furniture paste wax.Go on YouTube and find videos on how to adjust the blade each time you change the blade you need to do this.Should have told you this earlier but order the riser kit you will instantly go from being able to cut 5.5 inches to dam close to 12 inches.If you plan on cutting tall lumber and logs the resaw fence is perfect.For less than a $1000 you now have a 17 inch bandsaw.GRIZZLY IS NOT CHEAP BUT YOU ARE ALSO BUYING THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE OUT THERE.THANKS JEAN

Through my experience and my knowledge of this particular type of tool, I found that it is the best in the market in terms of manufacturing quality and durability as well as the value of money.What also attracted my attention to this product is that it works on both 220 & 110 volts, as it is prewired, the only thing that I wish to include is the plug adapter which can work on multiple electrical outlets, Other than that no issue with this tool at all.

How easy it was to set up &the quick release feature.

Its the saw you want. Better than china!!!!

I am a first time bandsaw user and was able to make a sweet cut like this on my first try! I think that says more about how awesome this saw is than I ever could.
