Such great quality gloves I bought them as a beginner back about 1 month and a half ago and they still look brand new and fit great doesn’t wear out as fast as other gloves the color on it and quality is just high tier do recommend the padding is nice as well

I’ve been using the same Revgear MMA sparring gloves for the last few years (pictured in this review). I really liked them but it seemed like the velcro wore out faster than I expected. I mainly use the gloves for heavy bag work. (Yes, I know they say you’re not supposed to, but I do.) Overtime, it seemed like my hands were getting a little bit sore from hitting, so I decided to try some gloves with some more padding, but I still wanted the open palm so I could grab my water bottle and drink it in between hitting the bag. Over the past couple years, I’ve ordered different brands but sent them back quickly because of some sort of design flaw. I recently started this process of looking for new gloves again and decided to try out the Combat Sports gloves (pictured in this review). As soon as I took them out of the packaging, I smelled one of them and it smelled horrible. I put them on and they were very comfortable, especially how securely my wrist felt. However, upon examining them I noticed that the padding looked uneven between the two gloves. Some of the materials on the gloves seemed a little bit cheesy to me, also. Although I thought I could’ve used them, I was turned off by the perceived low quality of the gloves. Then, I decided to try out these Fairtex gloves. At first, I ordered a size Large, since I wear an Extra Large in the Revgears. The Large was too big so I sent them back and ordered the Medium. Upon opening the Medium Fairtex packaging, I instantly felt good about these gloves. The perceived quality was very good. The Mediums fit much better than the Larges. I did examine the padding on both of the gloves and they might not be perfectly even… However, they seem good enough. Maybe there’s no such thing as the “perfect glove.” I mainly just tired of buying gloves, trying them on, and then sending them back. These gloves seem really good, anyway. I’m really looking forward to using these gloves at the gym tomorrow. Update: When I first used these gloves, I experienced my wrist being loose and the idea that I may hurt my wrist with these gloves. The big padding does lend it self towards unstable wrist movement. After regularly using these gloves, hitting the heavy bag, I have not hurt my wrist. My hands might move around, inside the glove, because the padding is so big, but overall, it has been a good experience. Note: The heavy bag is not a hard heavy bag. So results may be different if you’re hitting a really hard heavy bag. I’m really happy about these Fairtex gloves. (FGV 18)

I purchased S based on the size chart (palm width 3-3.3in). My palm width is 3in. I am an adult woman. These are too large for me. I would not be able to grapple well in them because they almost completely cover and restrict the movement of my pinky and thumb (see attached). There’s also so much empty space around my palm inside the glove, which is confusing to me because my palm width matches the suggested sizing. Wearing wraps might fix the space issue, but you shouldn’t really have to wear wraps for MMA sparring. I wish they made an X-Small size, because the glove’s quality and protection level seems perfect. Please consider making X-Small. I will have to return this and settle for a worse quality glove that actually fits. I’m very disappointed because Fairtex’s sizing usually works for me.

i was skeptical cuz the reviews but the large fits me well! 6’3 210 they also have a bit of cushion, more than my gymmates gloves. its nice. fairtex💯

Sitzen perfekt und fühlen sich einfach natürlich zu tragen an. Die Verarbeitung ist gegenüber Venom Challenger 3.0 deutlich besser und gegenüber 30€ Modellen sowieso. Wenn sie jetzt auch noch eine ganze Weile halten, empfehle ich jedem dieses Modell.

These gloves let your wrist wiggle like it’s at a dance party, which isn’t ideal if you’re throwing heavy shots or defending takedowns. It’s not a dealbreaker, because unlike boxing gloves that do provide solid support mma gloves aren't really made for this. So you can't take away a star for that. Another good thing is the ventilation, it keeps your hands from turning into saunas. Plus, they’re built like tanks—these things can give or take a beating and still look fresh. So, are they worth it? If you’re an MMA fighter or enthusiast looking for a versatile glove that can handle striking and light grappling, the FGV18 is a solid choice.

I love the feel of the gloves so far, they have a good shape to them. The thumb piece covers the thumb and keeps it in a safe position. The colour and design are great. They feel durable so far.
