I have used 1.8 gpm heads which had a narrow spray. They used a lot of water. I switched to two 1.25 gpm which sometimes use as little as 0.8 gpm with a soft spray which is wider than the old heads. The water usage is way down and now a 20 minute shower uses less than half what filling the tub would use. I am pleased with the new heads. It does take a little longer to take a shower than the high flow heads but the extra time is minimal. And these heads look better than the older low flow heads. To install I used a small amount of teflon tape and they went on easily with no leakage.

I was skeptical - going from 1.7 gpm to 1.25. Now the 1.7 seems completely unnecessary. This shower head is amazing. Way more settings than I realized. I love it. Energy / water efficiency plus a great shower. Well designed and easy to install. No tape, wrench, etc.

Took 30 seconds to install. Plenty of water pressure even though it's rated as water conserving. Love that it's not too fussy and not too many settings to deal with.

I have one of these installed now for at least 4 years. It can adjust between a nice rain to a "shower massage" pulsating concentrated blast. It does restrict flow, but you get enough to get yourself rinsed off nicely. Very comfortable for a "Hollywood Shower" as the Navy guys would say. Even in hard water, I haven't had any clogging. I just give it a quick blast of vinegar and soapy water after each shower. (Not sure if that has anything to do with it.) Anyway, I have been completely satisfied and purchased a second one for my other bathroom.

The flow rate is reduced considerably after changing the shower head. Good product.

I moved into a new apartment that has a teeny tiny boiler (like only 15 gallons) and with the shower head that came with the apartment it would spray lovely water pressure but I would only have hot water for less than 5 minutes. I figured it was more a quantity issue than quality issue. The hot water level was great but the shower head was pouring buckets of hot water at me and with the small water heater I literally couldn’t even wash my hair fast enough before I ran out or hot water. This shower head solved the problem. Do I have great water pressure? No. But can I now shave and wash my hair in one shower? Yes.

This is a great shower head! I love that it's energy saving and conserves water! Very well made... heavy duty and easy to install! Really enjoying it!

This shower head is nice, however, it should come with a washer. I had to find one to fit in order for it to not spray water out between the shower head and the connection pipe.

This shower head is excellent for a low flow shower head. The previous head that I removed and replaced with this one used quite a bit more water than this one. And the previous head was also a low flow. One thing that I would mention is that this head is noisy. A lot more noise comes from it while its spraying water. Not sure why but obviously has something to do with the way that the water is flowing through it. Very easy to install, you need no tools. There is a rubber seal on the inside that seals the unit to the head arm so no tape is needed. Installation took 15 seconds. I'm going to check to see if there are other reviews of low flow units that are a little less noisy than this one.

It is very noisy, but the worst thing it is almost 6 lpm and not 4.7 lpm as indicated on it. Easy test to do it. Materials seem for not long lasting. I do t recommend it if you want really save hot water.
