Professional Cross Wire Cooling Rack Half Sheet Pan Grate - 16-1/2" x 12" Drip Screen 2 Pack

Got these to pair with Nordic Ware baking sheets, and for general counter usage. They are substantial racks. Not heavy, but sturdy. They will rust in the crevices between cross connections when run through the dishwasher, so that could make cleaning them a PITA if you want to avoid rust. Otherwise, they are great, and I've continued to add them to my kitchen.

I haven't used them yet but I plan to use them to hold meat & veggies off the bottom of the pan when baking and broiling. I also will use them to cool cakes/cookies and the like. They seem a little thin so I'm hoping they are tough enough. I'll report back if they are problematic.

Have not had any rusting issues with product I have had it for awhile now. My only issue is cleaning it is very hard to get into the grates to clean it.

Another must have for serious cooks. Cooks meats without having them sit in fat and allow meat to come to room temp more quickly. Use also to ice cookies or cover graham crackers with chocolate, then top with marshmallow for delicious s’mores. Tip: line your baking sheet with paper towels and put the rack in upside down to drain fried foods without the food sitting directly on the paper towel.

Poor construction, aharpnburrs on the ends of wires tonthe point they could cut skin.Not worth the money at all.

This is my third one and they are so perfect to use for cooling racks for my baked goods and also for keeping pancakes and french toast warm in the oven and I use almost daily just to put hot food from stove on them. They get used almost daily and they still look brand new. It fits perfectly on a half-sheet pan and I'm sure it would be great for roasting as well. Not sure how hard it would be to clean since I had not used for that purpose.

I have several other wire racks that never seem to fit in a half sheet. I bought two Nordic half sheets and these wire racks on America Test Kitchen recommendation. Thes fit perfectly in the Nordic half sheet. They seem to clean up more easily and have not warped. I love them and the Nordic half sheet is the best too.

After months of use, I don't know how we were ever without it... It is an absolutely amazing, fits great and a great value.. it's not the best of quality all of them are a bit out of shape but it does the job even if it's not 100 percent straight...
