This Winsome Wood Valet stand is a refined piece of furniture. Had been searching for this a long time. Sturdy, well made, packaged carefully. The assembly with power tool makes the difference. The Expresso color is rich dark. The stand is a bit heavy. A gift for my son who said it was very well made. I hope he uses it or my husband will. Reminds me of Poirot character in Agatha Christie’s series.

I purchased this valet on Amazon for my 9 year old son. The valet is very sturdy and solid wood. Everything is great quality, it was packaged well and arrived undamaged. It would work equally as well for a full grown man, the only consideration would be that the mirror is not at the optimal height for a tall person. However, the mirror does tilt, so it can be swiveled it to the correct angle for viewing. My goal was to get my son and my daughter out of the habit of both trying to use the bathroom at the same time in the morning (they really make a mess!). Since I purchased a vanity for my daughter to help her get ready in her room, I didn't want my son to feel left out and thought we'd give this valet a try. It has a great little mirror on it so he can do his hair in his room while getting dressed. He really loves the idea that he now has a special place for all of his everyday pocket items, his clothes for the next day, his brush, and even his hair gel. The drawer is an added bonus for small special things he wants to keep out of sight. He has been using the valet every day, and I can tell it makes him feel special to have this helpful 'assistant.' Between this valet and the vanity I purchased for my daughter, I'm happy that the bathroom is no longer a war zone every morning!

The screws that come with this are crap. I️ wish I️ would have read the reviews, but I️ had one exactly like this a couple of years ago and it was good quality, same brand. It got demolished in a hurricane and sadly we didn’t start putting this together until after the return window closed. Used the Allen wrench provided. The screws are 4/5 of the way in at the bottom and they are stuck—and stripped. Can’t get them back out. Trying to drill new screws in between to see if we can rescue it. It looks beautiful and well-made. The paper that comes with this has a place where you can order new screws.

I heard about this style of stand from social media, and figured it was the perfect choice for someone like me with severe ADHD that always forgets their wallet/keys/other important knick knacks. I also am the type of person who benefits a lot from preparing & folding their outfits for the next day, so the idea of a place where I can pretty much hang my whole outfit sounded awesome too. I am glad to say these expectations were met! It can hold my dress shirts, jackets, pants, as well as fit my wallet and jewelry in the drawer. The bottom platform is perfect for leaving my shoes as well - though I prefer to keep my shoes outside of my bedroom. Lots of love for the versatility and utility of this thing. It seems like it should last a while too. Unfortunately, I had to take 1 star off, since the hex screws were highly resistant to being tightened even if I tapped them beforehand. I ended up stripping the whole allen key itself, sawed off the end so I could keep using it, and then stripped it a 2nd time. After wearing down my own allen key from my toolset a little bit, I finally got through all the screws. There is a lot to be desired in terms of stability, it wobbles a lot even though I've got everything properly tensioned. but not enough to drive me crazy so only 1 star off :)

A solid and sturdy valet stand that assembles in less than 30 minutes. The quality is good, and the drawer and mirror are very useful and I use the side bars to hang my ties and belts. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a valet stand.

Assembly was not easy. Do not use the tool provided as you will get hurt. Better to use a power tool or a proper screw driver. Also the product sent is darker than what is pictured and the piece for the tie was not provided. Once assembled its a solid rack

I bought the Winsome Wood Valet Stand with Mirror and Drawer in the Espresso colour as a Valentine's Day present for my husband. It arrived in a box and required some assembly and as my husband was assembling the Valet Stand he was getting happier and happier! The Valet Stand was a lot better quality than I expected and it looks beautiful in our bedroom! I'm really happy with the Valet Stand and my husband was thrilled! I would highly recommend this Winsome Wood Valet Stand!
