Love Phone Loops
I’ve been purchasing from Phone Loops for some time now, and continue to love Phone Loops and purchasing them for almost every phone case that I purchase; so nothing made me happier than when they started selling on Amazon and offering Prime shipping. That meant being able to purchase a case locally, and having a Phone Loop for it within a day or two. Sometimes I’ll purchase cases from manufacturers that take a couple of weeks to ship; which in that case I would order directly from Phone Loops since they sell the Loops for less on their site, have more options, and will usually offer bundling discounts and free shipping when buying a few (just keep in mind that they ship from Canada and can take up to two weeks to arrive - so that’s where it’s worth paying a bit more for Prime). Anyways, as someone who takes a lot of pictures with my phone and who usually has a dog with me, these Loops have been true life savers (phone savers, really). Before Phone Loops I would end up dropping my smartphones and shattering the screens (or phone, if it was made of glass), so I heavily depended on either the warranty on the device for a repair/replacement and/or on having a big ugly and bulky phone case. There’s also all the times when I’ve been close to dropping my phone into water or off a cliff - no longer the case. With a loop on my phone case I’ve taken my phone on every hiking trip, jumped off planes (skydiving), taken it on rock climbing adventures, white water rafting, and other adventures without having to worry about dropping my phone. For those claiming that Pop Sockets are better, not going to argue with you, Pop Sockets are awesome and have saved me multiple times; but, I just find that with a Phone Loop I have a tighter hold on the phone. With a Pop Socket, I have dropped phones because of my dog pulling me; never with a Phone Loop. In fact, I have a Pop Wallet on one my cases (pictured), and that case also has a Phone Loop on it. With all that said, Phone Loops are not perfect, they have to be replaced every few months. I have never had one snap or lose the adhesive; but, like any fabric, they age and start looking old and dirty (you can see some aging on the pictures I posted). On a really thin case, or a case designed to tightly hold the phone, it may make it harder to get the phone into the case; but even with something as minimal as the carbon fiber LaterCase, I can still use a Phone Loop and snap the phone safely into the case - it’s just a matter of making sure that the Phone Loop does not overlap (the LaterCase is the center case in the images). Another con, is using it with clear cases, where the adhesive part can look a bit unattractive (as seen on the pictured cobalt case). There’s also the argument or making this at home and saving a lot of money, and that’s a legitimate point - you are paying for nothing more than a piece of ribbon with adhesive on it. Personally, as someone who just doesn’t have ribbon or adhesive sitting at home, and as someone not interested in buying more ribbon and adhesive than I need, I’m fine paying Phone Loops. As previously mentioned, I have never had their product snap, rip, or lose stickiness on me; so I trust whatever materials they are using over something I could use at home. Finally, they have some pretty cool designs, and if you visit they’re site they tend to introduce special designs throughout the year (not all make it on Amazon, unfortunately). I also just realized how much I’ve typed over a piece of sticky ribbon :-) ...so in short, highly recommend it, it’s a must if you do anything adventures (including dog walking), and it will save your phone!!

LOVE this! Cheaper from seller's website.
Update 9/23/2020: I. Love. This. Loop! After using this loop for nearly a year, I have really been enjoying it. It's made my phone easier to hold with multiple activities: walking, playing games, hanging it on a public bathroom stall hook, watching videos when I can't set down/prop up my phone. I'd say the only downside is that the exposed ribbon gets pretty dirty (I sanitize it with a Clorox wipe, but it looks dirty). I just love that the back of my phone is flat (so I can see notifications at work without flipping my phone over) and it stays in the phone mount in my car). ----------------------------------- tl;dr Great! I would buy it again. I bought the Maldive/Blue Turquoise pattern for use with iPhone 11 and Otterbox Lumen case. This is my first PhoneLoop (previously known as Ninja Loop). I had a Loopy Case with my previous phone for four years which helped me not drop my phone, made carrying it easy, and was great for hanging my phone on the bathroom stall (instead of setting it down). I wanted a different solution that would allow me to set my phone on it's back (with the Loopy, I'd always set my phone face down and pick it up to check notifications). Also, I wanted my phone to stay securely inside of a car mount. I also hated how the silicon loops inside the case would make the case bulge from the back of the phone (makes it look like the battery is swollen/damaged). The PhoneLoop meets all of the above requirements. When I placed the PhoneLoop on a new (clean) case, I decided slotting it between the camera cutout and the right speaker cutout (straight up and down) gave it the least travel and least bulge on my case. I set one sticky side near the cutout, put one finger on the back of the case, and pulled the ribbon tight, sticking it down to the other side of the ribbon. When I fit the phone into the case, the ribbon was really tight. Over a week of use, the ribbon is the perfect tension. Holding the phone is much more natural in my left hand than using the Loopy Case. (I had the original right-handed Loopy Case and never bought the left one-because it was "good enough." I am right handed, but hold my phone in my left hand.) I give this product 4 stars because it is a piece of ribbon with 2 double-sided 3M tape. For this price, you can buy a roll of ribbon and a roll of Scotch double-sided tape and make your own. I didn't want to burn/glue the ends of the ribbon to prevent fraying and the re-position-able 3M tape costs more than the Scotch. If you're going to buy more than one, go to the seller's website. The product is $10 (double) here, but $5 on the site. Right now, you can buy 3 and get free shipping. I don't need 3 loops, and no one around me uses a case on their phone or wants a loop, so I just bought it here. There's more selection on the seller's website. So pricing and selection on Amazon from the seller is factored into my rating.

This looks like a piece of ribbon but it works! It was easy to fit to the phone case and adjust to suit me. It is very comfortable to use with either hand and it stops me dropping my phone because of arthritic fingers! it also allows me to use a wireless charger which is one of the main reasons I chose it. And I'm able to use a phone stand safely without having to take the case off. It does everything I wanted.

Excellent as always! I love these phone loops. The last one lasted me 5 years and two phones, the current one is doing great. This is one thing I will always get again and again.

Update!! Ok so I kept fussing with it because I don't have an extra pop socket after changing my phone case. I originally put it as the instructions indicate BUT I found I had to take my case off to get my cards out-of my card holder, AND it took 2 hands to try and get my fingers under. After messing with it I found putting the band the full length of the case, on an angle, works so well if you have a card holder. I'm using the non-silicone strap version, and I love it! I hated having the bulk of a pop socket in my pocket, so this works great! 1. You need a sturdy case, silicone cases won't cut it. I use Spligen. 2. If you want a silicone stick on card holder like I have, it creates a gap, to where its SO Easy to slide a finger under. Original review: I was looking for an alternative to a pop socket, so there isn't added bulk. But this strap has no give and either squeezes my fingers, and is hard to get under with only 1 hand, or it's too loose and doesn't help hold the phone at all. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground. Ultimately it's just a ribbon with tape on it. I also didn't think of this prior to purchase but it gets in the way of my card holder.
