It whines
The clock has wonderful features. The reason I rated it low is that when the second hand goes from 12 to 2, there is a very high pitched, annoying whine. My husband is hard of hearing and it doesn't bother him, so we kept it instead of going through the hassle of sending it back and possibly getting another one with the same problem. I don't know if there is any way we can fix it. An update on this clock is that it also doesn't keep time.
