Great results
Works great. I keep it on my pasture ponies through the Spring/Summer. I particularly like it because it keeps ticks off of them. Great product and easy to apply, only downside being that it has to be reapplied every 2 weeks.

Really helps for ticks.
Ticks are terrible. Worse than ever. We did a test. Half the herd got the treatment The other half did not. Two weeks later. The horses that got the treatment had no ticks Two weeks is recommended The horses that did not get treated were covered in seed ticks. I do not think it helps with flies at all. Worth it just to keep the ticks off. We are going to try to stick to the recommendation of application of every two weeks. Well worth the cost

Ticks beware
Got this for ticks. Works very well so far for them and for me, as the little buggers love me too after they try my horses. I can't speak for longivity yet. I also use a feed thru fly repellent, so doing what I can. Two negatives though. My horse is okay, but my donkeys skin seems to burn a little. Healing up though. Second is the applicator, I can't stand it!! I saw someone else's comment which is giving me the idea of transferring the liquid into a syringe. FARNAM, I'VE SPENT MY WHOLE LIFE WORKING WITH HORSES. I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU APPLY THIS TO A HORSES TUMMY!!!!

Do your horse and wallet a favor
Works great!! Switched to this after a bad experience with fly spray. My horse had a swollen eye from running on his leg and getting fly spray in it. First time in 10 years but I never want a chance of it happening again. A friend recommended this and I will never go back. 10/10 would recommend Side note: was tricky on first application but I just looked at the chart and had no problems from there!

Great stuff!
Works so well! Other horses at the same farm would be covered in ticks and my mare wouldn’t have one on her. She doesn’t love when I put it on her but tolerates it. Easy to apply and worth the money.

It doesn’t work
Sadly, this did not work in the least for my horse. She is kept in a stable so I can monitor easily. She has a short fine coat so flies bother her terribly. I applied as directed on a dry coat. The applicator is difficult and it is easy to lose a few drops when you are applying to a vertical surface. I wanted this more for tick prevention when I take her out on the trails, but I would definitely not trust this to do the job.

Your Mileage May Vary
Our vet suggested that we try this because the ticks have been especially bad this year. It reduced the number of swollen tick bites on our horses. It seemed to do very little for the flies or the midges. We supplemented with fly spray and fly masks. My main objection is the application method. Yes, I watched the video several times. I still had it running down my arm to my elbow. Granted, my horses are +17 hands, and I am short. They are also suspicious when I approach them with anything smelly in my hands. So, there was some dancing around, and trying to sniff the applicator, and heads held higher than my arm can reach, and it did not go as smoothly as in the video. I finally gave up on the silly applicator, and just mixed it with hand lotion. About 2 tablespoons of hand lotion in a small plastic dish, squeeze the contents out of the supplied applicator onto the lotion, mix gently and thoroughly with an exam-gloved finger, apply small dabs with your gloved fingers in all of the locations indicated in the video until the dish is empty, wash dish with warm soapy water, remove gloves inside out and dispose. Wash your hands and arms. So, your mileage may vary. If your horses are short and sedate, you might be able to get this stuff on them without getting it on yourself. And it does seem to manage ticks. (Wear exam gloves. Dispose of the gloves along with the applicator after use. Wash your hands and arms well with warm soapy water before doing anything else. If you have a funny taste in your mouth, you got it on your skin. Wash.)
