Each Speick product contains the harmonizing extract the high alpine Speick plant from organic harvesting (kbW). 100% free of mineral oil-based. The Speick Natural Soap is made in the traditional kettle-boiling process with masterly care. The company founder Walter Rau developed the first fine personal care soap in 1928 with the Speick soap. His goal was to make the unique harmonizing effect of the Speick plant, with its simultaneously stimulating and soothing substances for humans usable again. Just What I Wanted!!
This soap has been a favourite of mine for years ever since living in Germany. Always picked up a supply when I revisited, but with Covid travel restrictions and such that came to a halt. Didn't even think to look for it on Amazon until now. Glad I did.

Buono come allora
Avendo la pelle estremamente sensibile, a mia madre andava bene solo questo sapone della Speick. Era gia allora più caro delle altre saponette. Ricordo che sulla confezione c'era il disegno della pianta 'spica celtica' ossia 'valeriana celtica', una caprifoliacea dell'arco alpino, la cui radice veniva utilizzata in profumeria e a detta del produttore anche per fare questo sapone. L'avevo preso a marzo 2024 (5 saponette per 25 euro) essenzialmente per nostalgia -- e posso dire che il profumo è lo stesso, e l'effetto sulla pelle anche. Un signor sapone. Riordinato però in seguito in Germania al di fuori da Amazon perché più conveniente.
