Xprite Tow Hitch Compatible with 2018-2025 Jeep Wrangler JL JLU 2 Door & 4 Door, 2" Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver with Cover

I have a 2024 Jeep Wrangler sport. This tow hitch fit on so easily, I did not have to remove the muffler or anything. It took me about 15 minutes to put it on and it's super sturdy.

The instructions are tiny and difficult to see, but it's such a straightforward installation you won't really need them. We installed the bolts holding the hitch in the frame opposite the instructions to avoid needing to remove the bumper. To help get the nuts on in the tight space between the frame and the bumper, we put a piece of tape on one side of an open ended wrench to help hold the nut in the wrench. Then, once the threads caught we just tightened it down with a torque wrench on the muffler side. You can tell a good engineer designed this hitch as they called out Nyloc nuts on the frame bolts. These nuts are ideal for high vibration applications as they won't entirely back off if they get loose. One other thing to note, there is a little notch in the electrical plug that mounts on the hitch. You want to orient the electrical plug properly so that the notch holds the plug in the hitch. It was opposite the way we intuitively thought it should go, so pay attention to the notch.

The hitch installed easily and quickly, but after install and an attempt to slide the male side of the receiver hitch with a ball on it, it refused to slide in. As much as I tried, none of my hitches slid in. I felt with my finger and welds just inside the receiver were the obstruction and the four corners were no correctly sized to receive the ball part. I wasn't about to remove it and return it so I took a file and a grinding tool on a drill to remove the weld ridges. It took me about an hour to get it to finally go in as far as necessary, but had to hammer it in and then hammer it out. So, not a very good product and the seller should be advised of this manufacturing defect.

Needed to grind welded nuts off and drill 9/16 holes . Used factory spacer and bolts .need to bolt into bumper with metric factory bolts. Worked great . Wire harnes was a breeze. Great price just be prepared to modify to fit.

Easy to install. All of the parts lined up with the existing holes already on my vehicle frame. I have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. I use it for a 3-bike-rack and it works fine. There was some wobble so I ended up buying a hitch stabilizer for under $20 that fixed that. I assume the wobble was from my bike rack design not the hitch itself. The dealer wanted to charge me around $1000 to get a Jeep with a hitch option. This saved me over $900!

Purchased to be able to take our electric bikes with us when we travel and works great very easy install on our 2021 Wrangler all holes lined up perfectly.

The hitch is sturdy and painted well. Just slide over crossmember and install the 4 provided bolts into the crossmember holes (comes with them from the factory), tighten to 80 ft pounds and done. Received product in 2 days from this vendor.

Fit as described, easy install

I should have read all the 1 star reviews and not went by the 4.2 star rating. I would have then discovered that yes there was an inner seam blocking anything you try to slide into the hitch. and also the hitch is not exactly 2 inches, a bit tight. Since I did not have a mean to grind the inside of the hitch, I ended up grinding and painting all of my attachment .. 3 things and painted them .. so if you are reading this when you get the hitch receiver .. test it before you install it .. and then return it or grind baby grind.

I really liked the price I paid for it looks good and sturdy, but to install it on a jeep was not that easy need small hands to get the bolts and washers if you don't want to take off your bumper.
