Self Tanner - USA Made with Natural & Organic Ingredients, Moisturizing Self Tanning Lotion with Aloe Vera & Coconut for a Natural Glow, Streak-Free Fake Tan, Medium to Dark

This self tanner is the best I've ever used and, trust me, when I tell you I have used them ALL! You must prepare your skin properly before applying (exfoliate, don't just shave and think that'll be enough). For my dry skin, I used a body serum before applying and let it soak in for a couple of minutes. The Beauty by Earth is thick and best applied with a mitt or kabuki brush. Although, it's white, be sure to apply evenly and sparingly on the normal dry areas (knees, elbows, feet and ankles). Let it dry for at least 15 minutes before dressing. It takes several hours for the color to develop, so I use it overnight. Rinse off without using soap or body wash the next morning, moisturize and you're good to go. You can resume with body wash or soap the next day. The biggest difference is that it had VERY MINIMAL self tanning odor on my skin which is a huge plus. The natural looking, non-orangey color lasts a long time and fades pretty naturally as long as you moisturize daily.

Compared to another, similarly mostly organic tanning product, I absolutely love that this has a very mild scent that is pleasant even, and dissipates. I'm a redhead with some freckles - got the medium color - didn't use a mitt, just put it on like any lotion and rubbed in well, then waited about 30 minutes before finishing getting dressed. The color began to show in a few hours and then darkened even more over night. It is a very nice shade, not orange or yellow - looks pretty natural! It turned out a little darker than I wanted for my face, so I just ordered the light color in a smaller tube to try. By the way, I break out pretty easily, even now in middle age, and this product didn't cause any problems at all on my face. In fact, my skin felt softer all over after application. The aloe and shea butter make this a really lovely product. I had a little bit of streaking where I didn't apply it evenly on the underside of my arm, and I put a tad too much on my ankles and feet, but not enough for other folks to really notice. Hopefully I'll be able to avoid that in the future with a little practice. It wasn't enough to worry about really, or deter me from using the product again. Overall, this Beauty by Earth tanning product was surprisingly excellent!!

I absolutely love this self tanner it creates a really natural looking effortless even glow & also builds easily. I’d say as far as self tanning products (I’ve tried a lot over the years) this one is super beginner/user friendly. It’s nearly impossible to get an uneven or splotchy tan unless you just blatantly miss a whole spot & I rarely get dark patches on those spots you need to apply sparingly (elbows, knees, hands & feet) even when not being super careful about it. Now there are some things to note.. you’ve probably seen the social media ads saying you can put this on & 30 minutes later be out the door.. that statement is mostly true as long as your not going to be sweating a lot or are in a humid climate like south Florida lol. If I do that then do an activity outside it’ll rub off at any tight clothes or sock lines. If you’re in a similar case I’ve found it’s best to still apply this when you’ll be doing inside things or at night allowing it to fully develop & penetrate the skin THEN SHOWER before doing outside activities or working out. A quick rinse with a touch of soap is all you need & bonus points if you use a regular moisturizer afterwards. I’ve found this really helps lock it in & is the best way to keep your perfect glow. It also gets rid of the ever so slight fake tan smell which is very minimal with this product but still there. Lastly, transfer proof isn’t exactly true either. If you’re not sweating or do the above apply & shower method then it is correct you can immediately wear that white shirt. But (& this is how I also realized the above method was ideal lol) I applied this one late afternoon then the next morning without rinsing went on a 4 mile walk. It was early so it wasn’t even overly hot but of course it was humid & I ended up sweating. I was wearing a white tshirt, all seemed to be fine I got home & was just cooling down then like 30 minutes later went to get in the shower & realized my white shirt was completely sweat watermarked with brown tanning streaks really really bad lol. Thankfully my shirt came out of the wash perfectly white again so it won’t permanently stain but lesson learned regarding application.

Alright, settle in, folks! I have a hilarious story to share with you about my recent experience with the Beauty by Earth Self Tanner Tanning Lotion. Let me start by saying that I'm usually as white as a ghost, and I've always been too scared to try self-tanners because I don't want to look like an orange Oompa Loompa. But after hearing rave reviews from friends and reading about how natural and organic the Beauty by Earth Self Tanner is, I decided to give it a try. I followed the instructions carefully and applied the lotion evenly all over my body, feeling pretty pleased with myself for finally taking the plunge. Fast forward a few hours, and I was admiring my new golden glow in the mirror, feeling like a bronzed goddess. Feeling confident, I decided to head out for the day and run some errands. As I was walking through the grocery store, I noticed a man giving me some odd looks. At first, I thought he was checking me out, but then he approached me and said, "Excuse me, miss, but I think you have something on your shirt." I looked down to see what he was talking about, only to realize that the self-tanner had rubbed off onto my shirt in a few places, leaving some pretty obvious streaks. Mortified, I quickly made my way to the restroom to assess the damage. To my horror, I discovered that not only had the self-tanner rubbed off onto my shirt, but it had also stained my hands and feet an alarming shade of orange. I looked like I had just spent a week in a tanning bed gone wrong. The rest of my day was spent avoiding eye contact with anyone, trying to keep my orange hands and feet hidden from view. I felt like a walking advertisement for the dangers of self-tanning. Once I got home, I immediately jumped in the shower and scrubbed the self-tanner off as best as I could. But even after all that, I was still left with some residual streaks and orange stains on my skin. Thankfully, I had another trick up my sleeve - lemon juice! I had read that lemon juice can help remove self-tanner stains, so I squeezed some onto a washcloth and started scrubbing away. To my surprise, it actually worked! The lemon juice helped remove most of the stains, leaving me with just a hint of a tan and no more orange hands or feet. Despite my initial mishap, I continued to use the Beauty by Earth Self Tanner over the next few weeks, making sure to apply it carefully and avoid wearing light-colored clothing until it had fully dried. And let me tell you, once I got the hang of it, the results were fantastic. Not only did I have a natural-looking tan, but I also felt confident and radiant in my new skin. I even received compliments from friends and family, who couldn't believe how natural and even my tan looked. One of the things I love most about this self-tanner is that it's made with natural and organic ingredients, which is a huge plus for me. I try to be conscious about the products I use on my skin, and knowing that this one is free of harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances gives me peace of mind. Another thing I appreciate about the Beauty by Earth Self Tanner is that it's easy to apply and doesn't have that strong, overpowering scent that many self-tanners do. The lotion has a light, pleasant smell, and it absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any greasy residue. Despite the embarrassing mishap, I have to say that the Beauty by Earth Self Tanner really does work wonders. Just be sure to apply it carefully and wear dark clothing until it fully dries. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars because while it does the job, it's also a little tricky to use without making a mess. But hey, at least I got a funny story out of it, right?

Pros: Good color - more saturated than I expected. Stays on long - longer than any other self tanner that I’ve tried. Ingredients seem relatively clean for a self tanner. No bad odor. Cons: Nothing major. If you know how to put self tanner on, you’ll be fine. If you don’t just be aware it’ll hang around for about a week.

I cannot say enough great things about this self tanner! It gives such a beautiful, natural-looking color and goes on so easily. The formula feels great on the skin, smooth and lightweight, and the results are even and flattering without looking orange or streaky. A friend recommended it to me, and I’m so glad she did. This has quickly become one of my favorite self tanners. If you’ve been thinking about trying it, don’t hesitate — it’s absolutely worth it!

I think this is a good tanning lotion. I like that it doesn’t have a color guard so it doesn’t transfer. It is hard to tell if you missed spots though. The initial coconut smell is nice but this does end up with a strong self tanner smell as it processes. The color is nice. Not too orange. It does go on a little splotchy if you’re not careful. You can see in the photo of my foot how it can look splotchy and I was trying to be super careful. The photos are of a second application 3 days apart. So far it seems to wear off evenly. Overall a good product but not the darkest one I’ve tried.

This is the best self tanner I’ve tried yet.Im using the medium to dark formula. As a former makeup artist with major department store brands that give gifts with purchases, I’ve tried all of the self tanning products over the years. The expensive ones and the drug store brands the lotions, sprays and wipes. Improvements over the years in the after smell and the color looking more natural instead of orange have come a long way, yet many brands still miss the mark. This brands has a subtle very pleasant scent, not at all like a self tanner scent, only a couple of applications are needed until a rich realistic tan develops and will last for several days before fading or needing another application. Definitely exfoliate the skin well first, moisturize the intended areas well and let dry first, you’ll get more even coverage, be light in areas that bend like knees and elbows, as they will be darker from the extra skin folds. This product goes on white, continue to massage into skin and it quickly fades to clear, let dry thoroughly before dressing. Remember to wash hands real well after use or you’ll have tan palms. Definitely recommend this product.

Absolutely AMAZINGGGGGGG!!!!! One of the best self tanners I’ve used, and I’ve used them ALL! This product goes on smoothly, streak free, light nice smell, absorbs almost instantly but leaves your body nice and hydrated, does not transfer on clothing or bedsheets at all!!! What more could you ask for in a self tanner!? Also, it lasts on the skin for about a week, and fades off nicely and not in patches. I’m so impressed with this product, and I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone! I’ve used higher end self tanners, and this one by far exceeds the higher price tagged ones I’ve used. Only recommendation for users is to use a glove when applying to avoid orange hands. Finally a self tanner that owns up to the hype!!!! 10/10!!

Great product. The fair to medium is a lovely colour and it is easy to apply. Speedy delivery too.
