Great value and features! Better than my much more expensive head unit and reliable as well!
I had 3 objectives in mind when purchasing a newer head unit for my vehicle: 1) The vehicle is a Jeep with a soft top, it had to be bright enough to be seen in direct sunlight 2) I needed a unit with Android Auto and Apple Carplay 3) It had to be priced right - the vehicle is a convertible and I can't risk theft of an expensive head unit I looked through reviews and found that this unit had great reviews. I continually ran across reviews for ATOTO products that all claimed they performed way above their price point. I was initially skeptical, but based on the reviews I ordered the head unit and it was promptly delivered by Amazon. Upon opening the box, it contained everything I needed aside from my vehicle specific wiring harness which I had already purchased. The installation was easy and was completed in a couple of hours in my driveway. Once installed, I started utilizing the features and the first obvious win was the wireless Apple Carplay. I run Carplay on another vehicle I own - but it isn't wireless. The setup is easy and has honestly worked flawlessly. The FM reception on the unit is very good, enabling me to pickup stations I have issues with in other vehicles. The backup camera is nice and works well - it doesn't have the best definition I have ever seen, but the fact that it is included in this bundle is a bonus! Finally, the brightness of the unit is very readable - even in direct sunlight with the top down. I know this isn't the highest specification ATOTO unit, but they knocked it out of the park at this price point! I own a K**wood head unit that cost me 3x as much that didn't come with a backup camera, isn't as bright, and isn't wireless. This unit is a much better unit overall, price notwithstanding. Excellent job ATOTO!!!

Great quality. Fast and reliable.
Great product! I got this and had it installed about 6 months ago and am extremely satisfied with the purchase. The CarPlay works flawlessly (on iPhone SE2, 7, and 12). The Ai TOYK953 Dash Kit worked with my Gen III Prius, while the Metra one didn't work for me. The backup camera video comes up nearly instantly. I have installed the frost screen protector that comes in the box, which works great with the glare in full sun. The BestBuy install tech wasn't able to get my steering wheel controls to work (with the PAC SWI-RC Steering Wheel Control Interface SWI-RC-1), but I think that was the SWC interface issue, not the head unit. All in all, would recommend to anyone- especially given the price. 1 yr update: still love this headunit. Great quality in all lighting conditions and haven't had an issues yet. A recent revelation was that it does not support dash cams. You can have a front camera that you can view while driving (helpful for offroading) but it won't record. Per customer support: "Yes, SA102 supports the front-view camera, but does not support the installation of a dash cam. The dash cam can be used to record your driving video, but the front-view camera is only similar to the rear-view camera for you to view the pictures while driving, and it cannot record video. If you want to install a front-view camera on your SA102 radio, only a wired front camera (CVBS signal) with an RCA plug for video output is compatible." So that is a bummer!

Decent stereo...didn't hold up
After installing the stereo I was excited. It The screen was vibrant and responsive, This was my first experience with Android Auto. It worked fine. Did not testy out Apple Car play since at the time I did not own an Iphone. This was installed in a 3rd vehicle which doesn't get used often (99 Toyota 4 runner). I used the radio while working in the garage and was impressed by the sound, then I ordered accessories for it such as the OBDII sensor and back-up camera all branded Atoto. Installed the camera which worked as advertised but wasn't as clear as I'd hoped. The OBDII sensor I couldn't get to work...Light on sensor illuminates green upon plugging it in but that was it. Contacted Atoto and they said it wasn't compatible with the stereo which was wierd because it was in the instruction manual with a list of compatible accessories listed by model #'s where I got the idea in the first place. Next I tried out the mirror screening...couldn't get it to work on my own at first but after contacting Atoto again they gave me a pointer and I was able to make it work. The trouble started here: after getting the sreen mirror to work, Android Auto would not work any more, Contacted Atoto again, they told me to reset the stereo, use different usb plug, change settings, this time nothing worked. I feel like if I didn't try the screen mirror feature it would have been ok, but if you are going to advertise a feature it should work! Frustration crept in as I tried numerous times (hours troubleshooting), So I just parked the car. A few weeks later I decided I would try again. I really wanted this thing to work and would save me from the hassle of returning it. This time the stereo wouldn't turn on at all....More troubleshooting....checked fuses, took radio back out to check all wires....all were connected properly and securely. No idea what happened. Contacted Atoto, again given troubleshooting tips which I'd already tried several times...(radio still would not power on). Contacted Atoto about sending out a new unit. I was told to return this one to California (I have to pay for shipping) but my package may be rejected as they get a lot of deliveries. I didn't like how that sounded to I contacted Amazon for a refund, which they did provide albeit a reduced amount from my purchase price. ATOTO's customer service responded timely however I wish I had a person to talk to instead of emails back and forth. Bottom line: I think the radio has good features, I would have been happy if it worked and lasted.

Good value. Works well.
The touch screen itself is responsive to taps but there can be a slight delay after making a selection at the home screen. Once in CarPlay it feels speedy enough. Key on to home screen takes about 15 seconds. Add another 10 seconds for the CarPlay menu. I ended up using wired CarPlay only. There were a number of reasons for this. Wireless CarPlay requires both Wi-Fi & Bluetooth to operate so it switches the phone from any existing home Wi-Fi connection. I have poor cell service in the garage so attempting to set navigation and/or music streaming before taking off becomes a nuisance as I would have no internet connection until I'm driving. My 10 year old Subaru does not have a wireless charging pad so I didn't really see the point of using wireless CarPlay. I did install the included Wi-Fi antenna in case I want to switch later. I initially had some trouble getting into wired CarPlay consistently. It would freeze occasionally at the CarPlay menu or show a blank screen even though I could hear sound. What fixed this was to go into the settings menu and turn off both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It now starts CarPlay automatically as expected. There is a graphic equalizer in settings and I boosted the two lowest bass sliders. I left the rest flat. With upgraded speakers and an under-seat Kenwood sw-11 sub it sounds decent. There's quite a bit of road noise in this car so this is probably the best I'm going to do without major modifications which I'm not doing. Note that there is no separate menu for the sub output or a loudness menu to boost bass automatically at low volume. I transferred a Metra 95-8905B dash installation kit from an older Pioneer. I was able to make it work as is but it is not a great fit for the Atoto F7. The faceplate opening needs to be slightly larger. I had one quality issue. The supplied Atoto left-hand bracket screw holes would not line correctly to the side of the radio without pushing it slightly over the edge of the plastic faceplate. I ended up filing the edges of the metal bracket until it cleared the faceplate. The display will dim automatically when switching on headlights if the radio is wired correctly. I like the sun/moon icon at the top of the home screen to switch manually when, for example, driving in the rain during the daytime and headlights are on. I bought a pre-wired autoharnesshouse harness to connect the Atoto F7 to my 2014 Subaru Forester. It saved a lot of time and worked correctly including steering wheel controls without needing a separate interface box. Programming those buttons in settings means making a choice by pressing a selection on the screen (let's say the volume up button) until the border of that button turns purple. Then go and push the volume up button on the steering wheel until the same button turns completely purple. Continue with the other buttons. If you are making your own harness be sure the yellow wire has constant +12v even when the car is off or you will lose your settings every time you shut the car off. I'm two weeks into this so I can't speak to longevity.

It’s what you expect!
It’s hard for me to believe that this thing cost $110, after a coupon for 40. It has Apple CarPlay, which includes GPS and any music app you want to use, you can mirror your phone, not to mention all your contacts, calendars, etc. etc.. Comes with a microphone, comes with a back up camera. It’s Mind blowing to me that it’s so cheap. I installed mine in a 2004 WRX, everything fit great, came with everything I needed, except a vehicle specific adapter for an aftermarket head unit, which I bought a generic one, and it worked fine. My unit actually came with two left-hand brackets for installation, but I was able to modify one to become the right side bracket, By shaving down the threaded holes that were causing Interference. My phone connected immediately, wirelessly, all of the functions work very well, it’s not as fast as a brand new iPhone, but it’s certainly fast enough for a car stereo. Installation is pretty straightforward, assuming you have any prior experience installing a head unit. No surprises. Really updated the feel of the car, A little modern technology goes along way in a 20-year-old car. I really can’t say enough good things about this unit. Hopefully it will stand the test of time, even if it doesn’t it was only like 100 bucks so I have zero complaints. I definitely would recommend this.

Great hardware let down by the software in small but important ways
I've not tested all aspects of the unit yet, like mic quality from the provided mic (currently using the mic that's built into the unit), or reverse camera. But the head unit works very well for the price, apart from a few deal breakers for me: the head unit always turns on with the radio playing (not the last place the left the unit before turning off), and I'd really like the volume to softly increase to the point you had it when last turned off, or better yet set the a customisable startup volume (couple this with the radio blasting is irritating every day you turn the car on). Also, I installed this unit into my 2007 Subaru Forester (SG) XT with a proper wire adaptor I bought from amazon, but the steering wheel controls cannot be detected and set in the head unit. In all, good hardware let down a little by the software (which I've made sure is up to date). The unit is very clear and responsive, a good size (though it doesn't sit flush with the dash in my car). Connectivity is impressive even though I don't use almost all of it (apple CarPlay is all I use really). That said, it's all really great value if that's all you care about, especially as I received such a high 40% discount. :) But I would return the unit if I could due to the day-to-day deal breakers, and more (like having volume buttons instead of a knob), and get something else. Using the unit daily is a bit of a pain for me personally.

Great quality stereo and inexpensive
Initial thoughts, I installed the head unit in a 2009 Nissan Sentra. Good installation and operation instructions; it was pretty straightforward using compatible Head unit/Radio Wiring Harness with Steering Wheel Switch Wires and ASWC-1. The stereo looks great. Great screen resolution for the price. It lets you select a car logo that displays when the radio turns on. Fast screen boot up. Originally purchased for the CarPlay option, works smooth and seamlessly without any issue. The sound is basic quality standard OEM do not expect to get 1000w bass thumping sound; you will need an amp for that. Numerous equalizer and basic sound adjustments. Many options to play and adjust for user experience. Couple of notes during install: - Ensure power connector is seated all the way. I tested the radio before installing the ASWC-1 worked great. When I moved the radio, installed the ASWC-1, and tested the radio did not come on. After checking the connector to the radio it came out far enough to prevent power getting to radio. - If using a ASWC-1 install the separate 3.5mm jack, do not use the ATOTO 3.5mm jack that is installed with the wiring harness. It does not work correctly. - if using a ASWC-1 once the radio is recognized, in the head unit find the steering wheel control settings in the setup menu and follow the instruction. I was able to setup the steering wheel control under 5 minutes. Works like a charm. -I have only tested CarPlay, use the original cable or a quality cable that is sync cable. Important: Some cables are only one directional only gives you power to the phone and does not transmit data back and forth between phone and head unit. I had an issue initially with the cable I was using disconnecting and connecting from CarPlay every 2 or 3 minutes. I changed to a better quality cable and it works without any issue. The initial cable used was found to be bad cable.

Great stereo for the price
Stereo review Just had this stereo professionally installed and my first impression are that I love it. It looks great in my 04 f150 (new body style) and sounds great. The interface is very responsive and does not lag when swiping from screen to screen. Android auto works perfectly when I plugged my Samsung Galaxy 20 FE into the external USB port and works as it should (Apple Car Play works as designed on my wife’s iPhone as well). Lots of options to customize the sound via an EQ or preset sound modes. The thumb drive works in both the front USB port and external USB port. It says the SD card max is 32gb, but I am using a 64gb and haven’t tried anything larger. Bluetooth was easy to connect and controlled the music on my phone and the hands-free phone functionality (according to my wife) sounds great. There are for a few minor quirks that I have. Quirks: 1. This has been resolved via customer support. See update Front USB port does not seem to work with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay (the external USB works perfectly for both), but it does charge my phone (not sure of voltage) 2. Saved radio presets cannot be organized (they are arranged in frequency order) 3. Music volume cannot be controlled via the slider on screen. Must use physical volume up and down buttons. 4. File structure on SD card is displayed kind of funky. You will need to remove all the hidden files as it will try and access them. Also, I have an 64gb SD card organized with folders: BAND NAME -> ALBUM NAME->songs, and it only showing ALBUM folders then you can click on the album name and see the songs. Again, these are minor quirks and do not take away from this being a great stereo for a great price. Will try update this review after I have used for a while to see how it holds up. Updated review: Still loving this radio. Customer service is very helpful and was able to figure out how to switch between USB ports for car play.

Simple and effective quality
Ok so I don’t often review stuff on Amazon. But I have two vehicles and replaced both stereos in them. I bought a cheaper $90 radio and this one. The quality difference between them is night and day. This one has a smooth apple play that works with the radio. I left the usb direct cord inside my dash so I could make it look clean. I appreciated the actual wireless apple car play. It fit in my old Pontiac vibe well. I needed to buy an after market piece but there was no fuss on it fitting. You get tons of cord for the reverse camera which is durable and allowed me to install it through the hatch. And come out at the licence plate. The camera is clear and can be used to help back you up. Definitely worth the purchase and that extra money.

For the price it’s quite impressive
I recently installed the F7G2A7WE-S01 double-DIN stereo from Atoto, and while it has many impressive features, a few shortcomings keep it from being perfect. 1. Installation: The installation process was relatively straightforward, but it required additional tools like a crimper/wire stripper, butt connectors, and electrical wire for safety. I also purchased a wiring harness, but I discovered that the previous owner of my vehicle had removed the OEM radio connector and spliced the wires with butt connectors. This required me to manually match and connect the wires, which added extra time and effort. 2. Features and Functionality: One of the coolest features of this stereo is the included Wi-Fi antenna, which attaches to the back of the unit. This allows you to hotspot from your phone and connect the stereo directly to it. What’s great about this is that you can stream apps like Netflix or YouTube directly on the stereo without needing to mirror from your phone. I found this feature both convenient and impressive for a stereo in this price range. The rest of the features, such as Bluetooth and navigation, work well overall. However, the touchscreen could use some improvement. It doesn’t lag, but the screen feels sticky, and scrolling gestures are sometimes misinterpreted as taps, which can make navigating through music libraries frustrating. 3. Backup Camera: The included backup camera is a thoughtful addition. I particularly liked that when you shift into reverse, the music or audio playing is automatically quieted, allowing you to focus on reversing. However, the adhesive tape provided for mounting the camera wasn’t reliable, and I had to use the included screws for added support. While the camera activates immediately, the video quality was disappointing. The feed occasionally cuts out, and pixelation appears, reminiscent of old 80s-style glitches. After double-checking my connections, I determined this issue wasn’t due to a wiring problem but rather the camera itself. 4. Audio Quality: Audio quality is one of this stereo’s strongest features. The wide range of EQ settings lets you fine-tune the sound to your liking, and if you set up a subwoofer, you’ll have access to even more customization options. The sound is consistently clear and rich, regardless of the source—whether it’s streaming music, the radio, or a USB device. 5. Overall Experience: The Atoto double-DIN stereo offers a lot of value for its price. Its standout features, like the Wi-Fi antenna for streaming and excellent audio customization, make it an impressive unit. That said, the sticky touchscreen and backup camera’s video quality were disappointing. Because of these few drawbacks, I’m giving this stereo 4 stars. With some refinements in future models, this could easily be a 5-star product. I’d still recommend it to anyone looking for a feature-packed and affordable upgrade for their car.

Great Unit, Great Customer Service!
Installation was easy and straight forward, the unit functions extremely well and haven't had any issues with the head unit. The back-up camera burned out from what I believe to be a ground fault from the installation I did. The customer service team responded promptly and mailed me a new one with rapid shipping without any hassle. I'm extremely pleased with how everything works and the support I received.

overheating. horrible quality. no swc.
i’m gonna leave this as short and simple as i can. do yourself a favour, ignore the good reviews on this pos. do not purchase this. i didn’t even get it fully installed in my car, tested to see if everything was working before i put it in my dash. within the 2min i had it on, it was overheating so badly to the point i couldn’t hold it, it was so hot. pros: sound quality is actually pretty good. it has apple carplay, wireless carplay worked for me it has a backup camera (questionable quality, i never installed bc i was so disappointed with the product i didn’t even bother to get to that point) cons: overheats. very slow system, touch screen not very responsive. very annoying beeping sound every time you press a button, and no way to turn it off in settings (it goes away in carplay, but when you need to change volume every press of the buttons will have a very obnoxious beep that doesn’t change volume with the actual music, it stays one consistent obnoxiously loud beep.) TLDR; not worth your money. im returning this product.

Works great except…
Works as it should but the eq setting changes to flat every time I shut the truck off even when it says it’s still on custom. I have to scroll through all the menus to get to eq and the. Switch between anything and back to custom in order to kick back on. Drives me nuts UPDATE: got around to putting the back up camera in. Double checked connections for power and ground at backup light and to no eval the backup camera doesn’t work s
