Wonderful set! This building set allows you to build up to a triple high bridge! The joy of watching cars traverse the tracks, navigate the hills and of course the obligatory crash of wrong way cars is fantastic! We do get frustrated with the tracks not aligning from the curves and making sure the side with the groove is facing upward while building, but it is just a blip. (Toddlers don’t understand correct side to use) We would love to expand our track, but this set does not disappoint in its variety. It is enough track to provide good variation. Don’t underestimate the little signs included -the toddlers love to help build by adding them to the track! This set gives us 30 minutes of focused play time with 3 year olds every time we pull it out! The noise is not enough to bother or scare my noise-averse toddler. Both boys and girls love this set, but it does require parents to help build. They play with the cars while you build and then love watching them on the track. They also help build, but it requires a keen eye and quick adjustments to help make the track complete. My 3 year old is learning quickly how to create a closed circuit track! The original box with handle continues to be used to store the set when not in use. The tracks are durable and the cars run for a long time on the battery. This colorful, magnetic race track with cars is fun for all ages! You can’t put a price on that!

There is so much play value, even for adults in this set! My little kids love watching the cars zoom around and eventually wreck (they all go slightly different speeds). This makes for some fun family play time that interests everyone! We bought two of the big sets and would still love more of the elevation-changing tracks! You can make some complex tracks with a couple of sets (see video— we didn’t use all the pieces). My 16-month-old sat on one piece and broke the connector the first time we used it. The track pieces that are connected to risers need to be treated delicately, as the connectors are very easy to break. The non-track tiles are compatible with most brands’ standard tiles. They aren’t needed for use of this set, but it is always nice to have more building options. Word of caution — make sure kids with long hair do not get the cars unattended, unless they can be responsible to keep them away from their hair! We had both daughters get their hair stuck in the wheels!

Buy it I’d give it a 4.5 if I could, but overall we are having so much fun and I’d buy it again a thousand times over. Important notes: my 3 year old daughter’s hair has gotten caught in the car wheels twice in the first day (leaning over the track when the cars go by) easily remedied by a hair tie, but other parents should be aware how easily it happens. The cars are also super fast and will fly off the track. Luckily the hair getting stuck in the wheels fixed that problem lol. Maybe using older batteries would also slow them down so they stay on the track. I love that there are endless possibilities with this. We used other magnetic tiles to build a city around the tracks and the track go “through” the buildings. Overall, my daughter chooses these over TV and spends HOURS building.

These are only going to work.If you're using picasso tiles that have the little track that is meant for the car. These falsely advertised, they will work with any magnet tiles, and they definitely do not. They also are not magnetic if you happen.To think they were, they are just plastic. This Shirley work great if you have the Picasso tile track with the line down the middle meant for the little race cars. But they are only going to work for that. I got them to use with regular magnet tiles. As the description describes and they definitely do not work. They don't sit correctly because there is the 2 little rods that pop-up that are meant to connect the tracks. So the best you can do is connect. Maybe one magnet tile and make a bridge with one tile or one long tile. I mean, my toddler's having fun with it. But he's instead building some kind of structure out of it, rather than using it. For the bridge, so now I guess I'm going to have to just buy the picasso tile racetrack set. Also, the picture is deceiving.It makes it look like double the quantity.This set includes twelve pieces. I'm removing one star because of the false advertising that these work with magnet tiles.Now, everyone who owns magnetiles thinks they can buy these and have them work.And that is not true.

My 4 year old grandson absolutely loves Picasso Tiles. I bought this to add to his growing collection. We've had fun building race tracks together and running the cars on the tracks. Each time we play, we build the racetrack in a different configuration. It's a great toy for a child's imagination and motor skills. Fun for toddlers, children and adults, too! A good value for the money. Well made. Should last for years.

I bought this 80 piece set and the 100 piece set. The track works fantastic and is great for creativity. However the cars are hit and miss, we had an issue with the car on the 80 piece set and it won't go around the track, it jams up and goes very slow. Tried several batteries. The 80 piece set actually was packaged nicer in the box than the 100 piece set. But this set had the better running cars so we returned the 80 piece set. The car has to stay away from hairs or strings so they don't get caught up in the wheels and the little pegs that clip the raised pieces together can be somewhat fragile with younger kids. Age range has been great for 4-6.

The kid loves it. The magnets are not very strong on the tiles, so the tiles keeps moving out of plc when the cat goes over.
