The box says there is a “bottom hole sealant”. Is that just basically the sticker that’s on the bottom of the glass?

It has a small indent/plug. Not the sticker. However, these glasses a re very delicate purchased for my children and one shattered already. The shape is awkward to hold for small hands and there is no handle. Cute but not the best choice for children.

Is the glass microwave safe?

According to the internet, borosilicate glass is microwave and dishwasher safe.

Is this bear glass mug suitable for red wine

Yes, it's very suitable for this occasion. It's exquisite!

It's for holding drinkable liquids...not hot though.
