VSECUON Wax Seal Stamp Kit for Ravenclaw Fans (Ravenclaw KIT#2)

Fairly good detail for the seal, considering the total diameter is about 1 3/16 inches.Design is exactly as pictured.I’ve only tested the red wax and it’s very good. It melts thick (not runny), so you can control the application and seals come out thick. When cool, the wax becomes kind of rubbery and the seal bends instead of breaking, which is very forgiving for newbies. If you use harder waxes and accidentally bend the seal ever so slightly, the seal shatters (although that was the original intent of these seals).Spoon is the appropriate size and thick metal; I haven’t burned my fingers yet.

I really enjoy this set. The stamp itself rarely sticks and it makes a great impression.The box is smaller than expected, roughly 4" x 6". It's lid is tied closed which is a bit tricky to do tightly.I'd would have liked to see the spoon have a rosewood handle like the stamp itself, but it would probably just complicate cleaning it. My two suggestions is to allow for an "all one color" option for the wax (currently all different colors) and to package the wax in pellets instead of wickless sticks. But thats nit picking and I would eagerly buy a second kit or give these kits away as Xmas gifts!

My only complaint are the colors.I bought this for my wife, someone else bought her Mom the same gift, but whereas my wifes' was for House Slytherin, her Moms was a generic Harry Potter, and only the stamp is different. I think the colors for House Slytherin should include green and it doesn't. Being as I am not a Potter Head, I didn't make the connection till the women pointed it out to me, but now that I know, I believe they are right.
