This is the shower mat I've been needing for a long time! I like the large size for my shower stall. It sticks to my shower securely, but when you first put it down, walk on it to make sure it grips; there are a lot of small suction cups. I put the mat directly on top of my drain and the water ran through very easily without backing up. I could hear the water draining throughout my whole shower. I bought the clear green and the color is very vibrant, I love that. I gave it the artificial haircolor test on day one and it passed! My haircolor is bright orange and it did not stain this mat at all. I'm super happy about that! After using it, I hang it to dry. I'm a senior living alone so safety is important to me and this feels nice and it's secure. At first, I did balk at the price a little bit, but it's worth every penny!

I’ve had this mat for several years. I loved it at first then quickly hated it as black mold / gunky buildup collects around every single suction cup on the bottom. I’ve sprayed it with all sorts of cleaners and nothing works and cleaning each one by hand sounds very gross.Today it suddenly occurred to me to try hydrogen peroxide. I placed the mat suction side up in the tub, poured one bottles of peroxide over the entires surface, waited a few minutes then sprayed with hot water with the handheld shower head. EVERY SINGLE BIT OF GUNK CAME RIGHT OFF. It was a cleaning miracle. If you have gunk don’t despair - a 90 cent bottle of peroxide is all you need!Alas I don’t have a disgusting “before” photo to share, just an “after”.

I purchased this mat for my sister's tub. She had a simple rubber mat and when I took a shower I felt that my feet slipped on it, so I thought I would try this mat. She ha a textured tub with "waves" on the bottom. This mat is not supposed to be used on a textured tub (it even says that on the package it comes in), but it has so many suction cups, it did its job and doesn't slip around. Make sure you step on it to engage the suction cups. I like its size, as it fills almost all the tub (the rubber mat she had was so small I was afraid to move around). It pulls up easily when you are done.I gave it 4 stars because my sister says that she feels like she slips on it. I don't feel that. Although thelast last she used it, she said she wiped it off first and it was better. There is no place to hang fry it so we just let it dry over the tub. She did like the blue color :-)

I waited several months before reviewing this mat. I am really surprised at how well it has lasted, in fact it still looks new! There has been no visible wear and zero discoloration so far. We have gone through many mats over the years, and they all seem to get kind of "stretchy" after a few months and most (not all) will discolor telling me that they are permeable to some degree. This gorilla grip mat has stayed true in shape and is still comfortable to stand on (hasn't compressed) and the color is the same as when it was new. The suction cups work great and there is no slippage. We always rinse our mats after each use, so the suction cups are pulled off and pressed on daily. If it ever wears out or becomes discolored, I will buy another one without any hesitation.

I ordered two of these, and am now reordering. They lasted me about a year each. Perfect grip, non slip, dont shift at all. Easy to pull up for cleaning. Our water has a lot of city chemicals, so I get a pink buildup on everything. I eventually can't scrub it off, so i just replace the mat. I order clear, because I like to see that it's clean. Best shower tub mat I have ever found, in my 30 years of buying mats. Picture is when I feel it's not getting clean, this one is over a year in use. Just showing for size.

So the tub/shower at my apartment is extremely slick and slippery. It’s a cheap little enameled steel tub, nothing extraordinary. I was looking for something to reduce or outright eliminate the small bouts of abject panic when I’d find myself slipping a bit after maneuvering in the shower. The mat is heavy without being obnoxious and stays securely put. Cleaning is a breeze with some minor discoloration after some use but I blame the extremely hard water for that. I highly recommend this!

I like this matt very much. My wife says it feels hard, but, I don't understand that and I am smart enough not to ask for an explanation. It drains the water well, you can see it going down the tub from under the matt and that means it will be dry and cleaner than our old matt. It lays flat and doesn't curl like some other matts we have had in the past. I don't feel any slippage and my two children are both secure (4 and 6 years old) dancing around in the shower.

While does sometimes arrive with a strong odor, simply rinsing in a utility tub or the actual bathtub will remove most of the smell. And after using for a few days, any remaining odor is gone. Being a senior citizen I order a package whenever I visit family and friends. And I put it in the car when I travel: hotel/motel tubs can be so slippery.

Size doesn’t match

The size of product is 24 inch in length wheras description says length is 36 inch, not worth buying becoz of false description size. Even pictures are false.
