Good quality and good value
I bought this coffee for my husband. He has always liked LaVazza but the price had gone up so I decided to look for an alternative. These coffee beans are really good. Good quality, good smell and really good taste. Excellent value for money. Hopefully, the price wont go up!!

0MG THIS COFFEE IS SIMPLY DELICIOUS - GET SOME
This is the best coffee I have ever tasted, amazing flavour. I feel like I have struck gold with these coffee beans, so smooth. I will only be buying this coffee from now on, also a great price for a very decent sized bag, extremely happy.

This will wake you up!
This is 50% Robusta bean! For those that don't know, that has about twice the caffeine over Arabica bean. It makes a good strong deep flavoured coffee with hints of chocolate and maybe toffee. Good expresso and black Americano albeit needs sugar to overcome bitterness (that's probably the robusta). Unfortunately can't drink too much of this in one go as it gives me caffeine jitters, I usually have coffees with less than 20% robusta. Didn't realise this until after drinking a few cups.

Very nice Colombian espresso beans
I bought these beans to use in my high end filter coffee maker and was rather non-plussed to be honest. I thought they were "ok" without being exceptional or in any way remarkable. I recently bought a DeLonghi Dedica espresso machine though and decided to try them in that, and it was a great hit. All the flavour and intensity that even a good filter brewer could not extract came flooding out. This Colombia blend is relatively light with a slight smokiness, At around £10 for 1Kg it's a bargain. My experience would suggest that it should be prepared by pump espresso machine as the optimal extraction method. This is not the strongest or most intense coffee around but it's undoubtedly a very nice quality, with a smooth and easy drinking flavour, and it's one reputable and long-established coffee house's take on an Colombian blend. Definitely worth a try if you want for making an espresso that doesn't smack you round the head at the first sip.

Great value coffee – a hit in our office
Everyone in the office really likes this coffee, and for the price it’s hard to beat. It’s one of the cheapest options on Amazon, yet the quality is surprisingly good. I’ve got it on subscription for £13, which makes it even better value and means we never run out. Great everyday coffee for home or the office — would definitely buy again.

Interesting to try but for me, not quite tasty enough…
I love my coffee and am always on the look out for a descent sub £20 per kilo bag. The Crema from Der-Franz is not bad. Nothing to write home about but are good value for money. The quality of the beans are good as I didn’t need to change the settings on my grinder too much from my normal brew (coffee masters or union revelation blend) but these beans don’t have a lot of depth and they lack richness. I’ll keep looking…

A Budget-Friendly Blend
Der-Franz Espresso Coffee offers a solid balance of quality and affordability, making it a great choice for those looking for a satisfying cup of coffee without breaking the bank. While it may not be the most premium brand on the market, it delivered a decent flavor profile that's well suited for espresso-based drinks. Pros: Affordable Price: Der-Franz is known for its competitive pricing, making it a budget-friendly option for daily coffee coIt has a smooth taste with a hint of bitterness, which is characteristic of a well-roasted espresso blend. Decent Crema: The coffee often produces a satisfying layer of crema, a visual indicator of a well-extracted espresso. Cons: Not Gourmet: While it's a good value for the price, Der-Franz may not offer the same level of complexity or nuance as some higher-end brands. Individual Preference: I acknowledge taste is very subjective, yet I found the flavour slightly lacking and a little too bitter for my taste. Overall: Der-Franz Espresso Coffee is a reliable choice for those seeking a satisfying espresso experience without spending a fortune. While it may not be the most sophisticated option on the market, it consistently delivers a decent cup of coffee that's perfect for everyday enjoyment.
