Would Graphite help maintain dyed gray hair?

Yes absolutely. Graphite is for dark gray and dark brown hair to maintain the tone and eliminate brassy tones. So if you have dark gray hair Graphite is the right color for you. If you have light gray and silver hair, opt for Platinum Shampoo and Platinum Mask!

What level blonde does the color need to be for this to work?

Couldn't say for sure. My hair was natural white and I wanted more of a silver/gray tone to soften. First time I left it on for about 10 minutes and it was a nice soft silver, which I liked. Following week I left it on for 20 minutes and it was deeper gray but it seemed to have a slightly blue tone, that was cool I guess but I didn't like it on me. It's an excellent conditioner also. As for 'level of blonde" I don't don't as I'm not a stylist.

Do I still need gloves if I use it in the shower???

I didn't use gloves. I used it in the shower. I put a little on my hand to see if I was going to have any skin reaction. There was none.

If I have dark brown hair but trying to achieve a light brown color...what color or colors are suggested?

Unfortunately color cannot lighten color. If you wish to go lighter from dark, you have to get your hair lightened at the salon first. After your hair is light brown or blonde, you can use Color Mask Latte to maintain a light brown color.
