I have purchased and returned many covers to find exactly this. We are a family of runners and swimmers, and sweat with mineral sunscreen and damp clothing discolor car seats. Whether vinyl or leather, zinc oxide melted in them with sweat has been impossible for me to remove without causing more damage - & when there are perforations for heating / cooling, it’ll live in there forever. The nonslip backing of many covers can damage leather especially (scratch up & cause wear patterns w/discoloration) and that nonslip material also deteriorates in dusty layers & crumbles over time, esp in hot climates. Good luck getting the powder out of perforations or removing without more damage if it melts onto /into your leather or vinyl. Look at the many reviews on nonslip seat covers for pix. Perhaps nonslip can work well prior to crumble stage on cloth seats, but. I wanted something to protect our cars’ leather and vinyl seats,, not be more trouble. These are perfect. Toss on after run / swim and whitened sweat, trail dirt or sand, and after swim (& toweling off); staining and dampness doesn’t get on seats. They wash well, too, whereas non slip doesn’t IMO. I really don’t understand the negative reviews, esp that they are not nonslip when they don’t pretend to be? Yes, they are loose, but certainly not slick slippery. If you get in car with minimal attention, and aren’t dripping and splattering or pouring on them (ie drop a Gatorade or something?), we have found the needs for which we wanted these are met. Toss on after activity, instant off when home, wash every few uses or as needed - perfect frequent but intermittent use. For us, they are thick enough to protect dampness and staining without being too bulky or heavy like mover blankets.. I highly recommend for athletes and bought extras for each car. Note: for dogs, I would recommend dog specific backseat or cargo covers. Note to makers, I would add an option for 2” wider and 3” longer. These fit most our captains chairs perfectly, but when headrest is at tallest for my tallest male, a couple inches more would be ideal in that scenario. The rest of us are several inches above average height for male and female and they are perfect.

This is my second time buying SeatShield seat protectors and I've recommended them many times. I play golf and my wife and I like to walk and hike outdoors so we need to protect our leather seats in our cars. I tried a lower-cost alternative, but the fabric was hot and not comfortable at all. The SeatShields are exactly what we needed. It keeps sweat and messes from reaching my seats. It is also comfortable to sit on and fits perfectly. I highly recommend it. This product is simple and perfect for what it is - a removable waterproof seat cover, so understand it's not custom-fitted to your seat. It's supposed to be easy to put on and off when needed and easy to throw in the wash. That's the whole point. If you've been using a towel for that instead, you will be much happier with this because the sweat actually doesn't soak through it and it's still really comfortable to sit on. I now leave them on to protect the front seats pretty much the entire summer and any time I'm going to be working out or getting dirty. You can't go wrong with this seat shield. Works for me

This seat cover keeps my car seat looking brand new, I work a dirty job and it protects my seat from all the dirt and grime. What makes it really nice is that it's washable. I've had this for about a year and it still looks brand new

I like sitting on this product, in my car, although it doesn't stay put when I get out of the car; it likes to try & come with me, so I have to make sure it doesn't get caught in the car door. It does protect the entire car seat, though, & covers it very well :) It's very comfortable :)

I bought this because I'm a runner and a towel wasn't large enough to fully protect my car seat from my sweat after runs. Other reviews are correct in that the cover slides around and is probably overpriced for the quality. But it works well enough. It completely covers my 2022 Accord driver seat and keeps the sweat off, which is all I wanted. It doesn't slide significantly once I'm sitting on it. The cover isn't attractive so I don't leave it on the seat all the time but it's quick to pull out of the trunk, fit over my seat for my post run drive home, then pull off and throw back in the trunk once I'm home. I'd probably buy it again or maybe buy a cheaper knockoff version. I haven't washed this yet so count vouch for how it holds up in the washer.

I'm always completely soaked after a BJJ class so I use this on my drive back and it's perfect. I also bought the seat belt protector from the same company, they work well together. It takes me less than 10 seconds to put everything on as I get into my car in the morning. When I get home I just remove them and throw them in with the rest of the laundry. Before I was just using a beach towel, which was slightly more awkward since I have to hold it up as I sit down so it won't slide down the back. The headrest pocket on this protector solves this problem. Also it does a much better job preventing sweat soaking through. I've had it for almost 2 months now and wash it every week, it's still brand new. All the low star reviews I see are complaining about it not staying on the seat and recommending more strappings, which seems to me to be missing the point. There are plenty other more permanent and custom fit seat covering on the market already that can do that. I've owned some in the past. This product serves a different purpose. It's perfect for quick install and removal on a single drive when you don't intent to leave it in the car when you get off. Adding more strapping would only make it less convenient.

I bought this to protect the leather seats of my car when coming back from the beach. This thing is terrible. It drapes over the headrest and then that's it. It just lies on the seat. There is not elastic or anything to "fit" it to the seat. Unless you sit down directly on top of it without coming in from the side (like you have to in every car ever made) then it just all gets pushed over to one side and is useless. I have a standard size seat and it doesn't even fully cover the top of the seat let alone wrap down the sides at all. The material is extremely thin and has no weight to it at all to help it lay down flat on the seat. Can't say how water proof it is because I used it once and I was so underwhelmed by it I laid several towels over it just to be sure. Wish I hadn't waited so long to use it because now I can't return this. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this.

I bought one of these to protect the seats of my new truck from my concentrated acid for sweat. I’m apparently part Alien! I wish I had bought sooner! These are the perfect fit for my Canyon. I also used them on loaner cars after either running or working out. Fit is excellent and there is zero bleed through to the seats. After a few uses, simply toss in the wash and hang to dry. I will buy another for the passenger side to use after kayaking. I keep this in my truck at all times on the ready. The seatbelt protector is good, not great. It’s a bit challenging to put on straight while holding the seatbelt extended. There is really no good way to improve the design.

I love it. It is super easy to use. Ticks in on the sides and front (sides are a bit short, but workable).

It is ok but you are always adjusting it because it doesn’t stay in place. Needs some way to keep it in place and then it would be pretty good. But not worth the amount it was since you are always fixing it and moving back in place. Ok for someone needing something to cover the seat because they are dirty and then take it off when not needed!
