Awesome shower head
I really love this shower head. It’s pricey for sure, but that’s to be expected with anything Grohe.

Plate Size But Pretty, Love the Gold Color
Haven't installed it yet but I like the gold color. Hopefully when installed it holds up, a little heavy rain shower. Metal & plastic shower hole inserts.

Quality Rain Can Style Shower
I got this to compare against an older model Grohe shower head that I have had for a number of years. Grohe is quality and this item bares its brand well. Pros: - Beautiful construction - Starlight Chrome finish on both top and bottom of head - 10" Diameter head Cons: - Quite expensive - Pressure limiter (by code) - Mounting Options limited - No longer shower arm to accommodate the 10" head So as you open the box you are struck by size of the head and the attention to detail. This is called a Rainshower ... this is very much what I would call a Rain Can Shower. This shower has no jets that I can tell so if you do not install this relatively flat (horizontal) .. you will have more water pressure flowing at the lowest end of the shower head and less at the highest point. Whereas, a more modern style showerhead water would be distributed equally to each jet in the head. I tested this on a standard 45 degree shower arm that most showers are at. As I suspected, the strongest flow was at the bottom of the head and it gradually reduced in strength until the you hit the top nozzles, which had no flow. That is to be expected in my opinion as these are not designed to be angled that much. The head does have a flow limiter in it so if you are expecting the rate you might be getting from a smaller or different head. That is something you should consider. We have 80 PSI going to our home but with the limiter the water coming out of the head is like a light rain. Quite nice but it's not going to be a massage shower. The whole unit works well and also tilts 10 degrees on a ball joint which does not affect the water flow out fo the head if mounted horizontal. It would have been nice if they supplied a shower arm if you didn't want to plumb it through the ceiling. The polished chrome finish shower arm I needed ran me just under $60. But it provided a glorious rain shower. If you like a calming, light water shower that just saps all of the days stress away. This shower head will help. This is Grohe and the only fixture that I have in my home if at all possible. Installation is a snap .. you just screw it on the shower arm. I would recommend using teflon tape and an adjustable wrench. Also tighten slightly over hand tight then test for any leaking around the top of the head. Tighten gradually if necessary to avoid any damage to the head or threading.

High end chrome luxury piece. Love it. But does leave marks/ requires cleaning.
Oh man, I love this chrome Grohe rain head shower. “Starlight chrome” is basically just regular chrome. I have lots of chrome Grohe everywhere in this shower and it looks so good with all the matching trims and such. I’d say it’s a bit of an investment to put all this expensive stuff into one shower, but I love the way it looks so modern and luxurious and it works so well. I hope it lasts forever after all the money I’ve sunk into parts and labor, but it’s good so far. When the plumbers were installing it they said Grohe was a really good brand and that this was a really nice piece. When the experts installing it have a high opinion of the brand and the products they are installing I think that’s a really good sign. The only down side I see to it is that this is my first ever chrome finish shower, and I didn’t know it leaves lots of water drop marks everywhere and always looks a little messy because of that, but I think that’s just part of picking a chrome shower. It will require wiping down more than some other mark-less metal finishes. If you are a super cleaner this may not matter or if you just sort of don’t care about what the metal inside a shower looks like (me) it’s not really a big deal. I just mention it because my husband brought it up and this guy has literally not noticed 70 inch paintings I hung on the wall for weeks so the fact he noticed it means it’s notable before picking the starlight chrome finish for your shower. The chrome matches other chrome hooks, lights and other items from various name brand and affordable online finds I got online so you can easily mix and match with this metal type. The price is expensive, but the quality is good, so is the function, and the price is honestly in line with what you should expect to pay for this high end bath fixture. Overall I’d recommend it.

Disappointed
For the money, I expected more. A lot more. The product description makes it sound like it doesn't need much water to do its magic, but this was not great. I'm going to go back to my old shower head.

Stylish, modern, and well made.
GROHE 26569000 Rainshower Mono 310 Shower Head, Starlight Chrome- Grohe has always been consistent with their quality. Every product I have had from them over the years has held up extremely well. This seems to be right in line with my expectations of their products. The first thing I noticed was the finish on this showerhead. The chrome looks great. It does show fingerprints a bit but not as bad as I was expecting. Next thing I noticed was the design. It is much thinner than my current showerhead which is also a rainfall showerhead. This is really sleek with how thin they made it. It looks beautiful and modern. I also like that it has a larger face than my current head but somehow manages to keep the same pressure. Water pressure is never going to be amazing with these types of showerheads. It was what I expected it to be if not maybe a bit better. I replaced an existing rainfall showerhead so I was used to this type of showerhead before this. I know when I first switched to it from a standard head it was a bit off-putting at first since I was used to the pressure. This is a bit better because the surface area is larger. Overall, this is a very well done shower head. It is a rainshower model so I wouldn't suggest putting it on the wall where a traditional showerhead goes. I added an extension when I first switched to this style and it was a pretty easy fix. This head is stylish and modern with the quality Grohe is known for.

Price doesn't mean quality
I don't normally write reviews, but I'm simply appalled by the quality of so-called German engineering. My shower remodel has just finished, and I had a chance to try it out. I like the look and the water flow, - the only problem the paint has started peeling off. For $500 I was hoping it would last longer than 1.5 months! I have a suspicion it was made in China and not in Germany.

Bassa qualità
Qualità del prodotto assolutamente inadeguata al brand e al costo dell articolo. A parte l attacco il soffione è interamente in plastica inaccettabile per un articolo che di listino supera le 400 euro. Spedizione ok!
