This putt return is more reliable than any battery operated that I’ve tried. I highly recommend this product for indoor practice putting.

After reading reviews on many battery operated ball returns, I chose this plug in model because reviews of the battery models complained that balls were not returned very far (4 feet). This one can go about 15 feet on carpet at full setting, and is adjustable if you want the return to go less distance. My only complaint is that the return is all black, and from a distance it is hard to distinguish the target opening from the ball return opening. I fixed this by placing some yellow tape on the edges of the target opening to make it stand out. The ball is returned at the desired strength about 80% of the time. If the ball is still bouncing around when the plunger activates, the ball may only travel a few feet. I am OK with that. I didn't expect perfection, especially at such a low price. The whole family enjoys it. There is no on-off button, but I leave it plugged in all the time with a putter and ball nearby. I pick up the putter whenever I walk by and try a few for practice. There is an indent on the top that stores a ball, very handy.

Super fun! You will get different return distances based on your playing surface just as you would on the golf course. Just don't let your child or anyone else try to see how it works. If you hold your finger on the cylinder that shoots out and returns the ball it will quickly overheat and stop working. If this happens, unplug the unit and let it rest for a while. It might start working again once the solenoid cools off. I have Berber carpet and get a 13-15 foot return. Its fun to try to bank the ball off the wall or set up other obstacles to the hole.

When I use a stationary cup, I need multiple golf balls to practice. With this return all I need is one or two golf balls.

Not sure what others expected from this item, but it's exactly as described and does what is should. Take it out of the box, plug it in, putt balls into it and it returns them to you - simple. Yes it is not battery operated, but who would want one operated by batteries anyway? It has a standard cord, which is more than long enough, so no power brick. It has an adjustable return force knob which works fine. Not super accurate but not a big deal. Just like the ones I remember made years ago that every executive had in his office at work. I can't see what more you'd want for $16. Works great.

Returned to have it replaced with another. Both had same, ball dispensing malfunction and the second one smelled burned. I hope someone else out there doesn’t have this issue.

If you're a pro golfer and or nerdy (oh sorry did I say that outloud?) Engineer type? Then no? It's not JPL quantified accuracy by any means. But it's cheap and it's fun! Great reason for me to dust off my putter and create good fun with my new puppy. If it's fun you want? Grab this! Its cool. Love and laughter. M

Every year my friends and I have a summer-long mini-golf tournament. Every single year I lose, by a lot. This year I have decided to put myself on a strict training regimen during the "off season". So far this electric putting machine has worked great! Turns my living room into a mini-golf course. It allows me to combine my putter training with my other favorite thing...watching TV. It consistently returns the ball when I am able to putt it in. Which doesn't always happen. Probably really great for someone with better aim.

Great putting tool for the basement.

Works as expected but the machine is so light that it moves and turns from the force of the ball being shot out. I’ve had to lay some heavy books on top to keep it shooting back to me in the same direction.

I wanted a putting machine that was wired and this one works well. You can adjust the power of the ball return and it is fairly consistent.
