Comfy but a tad short
I am 5’8 140lbs and I got size 6. I normally wear size 4 but sized up do you reading the reviews. Glad I did. They fit well now that my mom let them hem down an inch at the bottom of the pants, otherwise they were hanging around my ankles. I should of gotten the “longs” but took the chance since I wouldn’t normally chose that option. The material is comfy and stretchy which is nice when you’re moving around and the material isn’t stiff or heavy. Overall I am happy with them and did order more in the long version

Versatile hiking pants
Bought these in preparation for our Peru trip and ended up wearing them even more than expected! They were a great buy that I’ll use for years to come. Size up as they run small and hiking pants should have some space for base layers and to move in.

Very comfy for travel and hiking
It's been a while since I've shopped for hiking pants since I have a large investment in Columbia convertible hiking pants from a few years ago. In planning for a hiking trip to Switzerland I decided I wanted something more comfortable and without the oversized wide leg bottom. And the reality is I always wear the ones I have with legs and don't "convert", I have shorts for when I need shorts.Thank goodness there are more options! I'm 5'4" 125 lbs with full hips and usually wear a 4 in most bottoms. Size 6 in these pants fit me perfectly - and I had to go through a couple dozen to find just the right fit. I normally don't wear bottoms with an angled pocket because they pop out from my full hips, but these aren't too bad and they're so comfy everywhere else. They fit my hips without leaving a huge gap at my waist and the leg bottoms have a normal taper. They're wide enough to fit over my hiking boots, and don't look ridiculous worn with tennis shoes walking around the city. Length is perfect. And the stretch - what a genius idea to make a hiking pant that actually gives as you're stretching to reach the next boulder or step up!!The one downside is that there's not much for pocket space, but I prefer the closer fit and usually have a backpack or jacket or husband to carry anything I'd want to put in a pocket.

Wonderful pants
I love these pants. They are comfy and very cool and thin and dry quickly. Great for hiking or just everyday wear. I gave them four stars because the sizing is way off. I purchased a size 6 regular after reading reviews and they fit. I am 5"1' 117lbs and rarely wear size 6 much less a regular size. They are a little loose, not unflattering, but I don't like form fitting. I bought the Saturday trail pants, insulated, also and those I was a 4 short. Sizing is a bit off but otherwise wonderful pants . . .

Comfortable, light, fit well
I'm 5'4", 125lbs, 28.5" waist. I bought an 8 originally and those were crazy large. I returned for a 6 which fit much better, but the snap buttons were really hard to open/close so I returned those as well. The new 6 has the same problem with the snaps but I don't feel like returning them again since it's unlikely another 6 won't have this problem. The waist on the 6 is at the limit of comfort for me, but everything else fits realllllly comfortably. I am largest around the middle so this is a common problem for me. The material is really light, the cut fits well and isn't restrictive at all. Length is great for me, goes over my hiking boots without dragging. Overall these pants are super comfortable, light, and seem well made. I'm excited to test them out on the trail!

Great but runs so small!
I really liked the style and fabric of these. But they run SO SMALL. I generally wear a 4/6 - a little pandemic weight has pushed me up from my regular 4 to a 6, and I ordered a size 6, based on reviews. But these were at least a size or two too small around the waist. There is zero stretch at the waist. They definitely run at least one size, possibly two, too small around the waist. So I would recommend ordering accordingly.

Handled Alaska and Minnesota like a champ!
Love these. Super comfortable. Wore these on a trip to Alaska and in Minnesota. They were subjected to multiple hikes (including basic rock climbing), sea fishing, mud, and just strolling around town. They were my go-to and handled everything I did like a champ. When they got wet, they dried out quickly. The integrity of the material is holding up great. Thin and breathable, but not too thin. They kept me warm in 50-ish degrees and colder temperatures with leggings underneath. I also appreciated the roll-up pant legs for my hike in 80 degrees. I appreciated the quantity of pockets and their length. My only criticism is that they've stretched some in the legs--not as noticeable in the waist, but I bet I could have stuck with a Size 4 (I ended up with a Size 6). I will be purchasing these again.

Sun protection and staying dry
Bought this pair of pants for hiking. Perfect fit, material is light and just the right amount of stretch. Would have been better with button closure instead of press studs.
