Makes old linen cloths beautifully crisp again
Very good starch and not easy to find in shops. Follow mixing instructions correctly.....(like mixing cornflour) and always iron fabric while still damp, gradually drying it out with the iron. Will remain creased if dried too much before starting to iron! If you've not time to iron at the right stage of dampness, pop cloth (folded up) in a large poly bag until ready to iron. First iron cloth single on wrong side, then fold in half right sides together and iron through both thicknesses. Hey presto! a smart, crisp tablecloth

If you want really stiff starching, this is great.
If you avoid starching anything (as I do) but find that you have got to starch an item to be really stiff - this did a good job. It was slightly by trial, error and common sense as the instructions are for an initial litre of water & I was only starching one small item requiring not a lot of liquid. I can be more frugal in future.

Starch
Really good bit surprised at the size, very small packet... Bit deceiving... But otherwise ok

ideal for chair covers
My grandmother would use starch for several things and when I got new settee and chair covers that I could wash in my own machine, I felt it needed a bit of stiffness in the covers to keep their quality and shape. then I remembered what my grandmother used and luckily I was able to buy some still. So really pleased and so easy to use.

Arrived in good time
I use this product to add texture strength to cotton bedding such as pillow cases and duvet covers. It is easy to use but not readily available in shops.

Good results
Can starch small amounts by hand. You can easily vary the stiffness. Iron when damp but I often re damp if dry-same good result. Used mainly to starch cotton bed linen, serviettes -geat results..
