One of these worked wonderfully to secure an old wardrobe door that was badly warped and wouldn't stay shut at all. Other magnetic latches I tried were not strong enough, but just one of these works perfectly to keep the door shut. Very secure attachment of the two pieces with included screws and the metal is good quality and very thick. Easy to install but I needed to make a pilot hole to start each screw because the magnet kept grabbing the screw off my screwdriver. Small kids and pets would probably have a tough time opening this door now, even with it being so warped. If you have a warp on your armoire door or wardrobe cabinet and just need it to stay shut, and don't want small kids or pets to get into it easily, try these! I believe you can adjust the strength of the closing down a bit by shifting the two pieces farther apart so they don't exactly line up, weakening the connection. If it's too strong for you.

I used these to replace some old ball catch double closet doors and french doors. Good quality metal products that came with extra screws and two sided tape to help with installation. The magnets are strong and hold the door well. These are much better than those old ball catch gizmos. Good Luck BP PS; I just ordered three more sets to finish out my home.

These worked exactly as I'd hoped they would. I installed a few new cabinet doors in an older hinge system, and they wouldn't quite stay shut. The magnets work extremely well. They come with the fitting screws, and it was absolutely no problem to install them. The entire action was done in under 15 minutes. There is even double stick table included to help hold the location of the metal plates to make sure the are mounted properly.

I have a double pantry door with the ball and socket catch at the top. After a few years, they no longer worked. I was constantly closing the half opened doors, hearing the slams from my kids and catching the dogs getting in for treats. I don't know when I never thought to look for this, but I stumbled on it and took a chance. I had them installed and they are working perfect 3 months later. I will say they were a tad frustrating to attach to the door, the screws they provide are microscopic. BUT they are in and they are great, very strong hold.

It's easy to use & open, but sturdy enough to keep it closed, great performance!! Installed with relative ease, & we had to find a different screw to fit our old place we had already had a screw in before hand. It all worked out & it is all good!
