Helpful Breastfeeding Support Protein for Postpartum Nutrition & Routine
I purchased this for my sister during her postpartum journey while she was trying to find a protein supplement that worked well for her while breastfeeding. She had previously been using other protein powders, but felt they didn’t sit as well with her, so she decided to switch to something specifically designed for nursing moms. Since switching to Milk Dust, she has shared that it has been a much better fit for her body and overall routine. She feels more comfortable and supported using it daily, which has made it easier for her to stay consistent with her nutrition during this stage. The powder itself mixes well and is easy to use in shakes without clumping. It has a smooth texture and is convenient for busy postpartum days when simplicity and ease of use matter most. In terms of nutrition, each serving provides around 14-16g of protein, along with added vitamins, minerals, and a postpartum-focused blend designed specifically for lactation support. Rather than being a high-protein "gym-style" powder, it feels more like a functional nutrition supplement tailored for nursing moms, which is important depending on what you're looking for. Because of that, it is also more of a premium-priced product. It may be more expensive than standard protein powders, but you are paying for a targeted formula that combines protein with additional nutrients and ingredients designed specifically for postpartum and breastfeeding support. What stood out most is that it feels thoughtfully formulated for nursing moms, with clean ingredients and a focus on postpartum nutritional support rather than anything overly processed. Around the same time, feeding in general became a smoother experience for her baby, though every mom and baby is different and there are many factors involved during the postpartum period. Overall, I would recommend it for breastfeeding moms looking for a clean, easy-to-use protein and lactation-support supplement to incorporate into their routine. It was a helpful switch for my sister during an important stage of postpartum recovery and nutrition.

Thank you MilkDust.
After struggling with low milk supply and the busy mom challenge (we all know too well) of getting enough calories to be able to efficiently breast feed. I found my remedy, Milk Dust. I’m not vegan, however... I do not partake in dairy or beef products. This creates a problem when getting a tasteful protein powder mix. I’ve gone through powder after powder hoping it was “the one”... I ended up settling with “good enough” Until I found this stuff. Honestly, milk dust is the best tasting vegan powder I’ve had. And surprisingly enough it mixes better too. I don’t even have to blend it, or mask a horrible taste in a smoothie full of other ingredients. Sure, there’s a couple little clumps that don’t manage to dissolve but I shake it up in a mason jar with oat milk so if that bothers you use a blender cup or, blend it in a blender. The other reviews mentioning the flavor as vanilla cinnamon are pretty on point. I love that it has superfoods such as chlorella in it and you can’t taste it. I bought this to up my calorie intake and boost my low milk supply. It works, like better then I expected. I’m now pairing it with a Moringa supplement and I have so much milk I actually get engorged and leak, that never happened before. The only thing I would change about this product is the cane sugar. I wish it had none but with this being the only thing that’s boosted my supply, and helps me get in more calories during the day, and it’s not a large amount of it.. I’ll turn the other cheek to the cane sugar for now. I procrastinated for weeks on buying this because of the price, but once I did the math and added up what I was spending on multiple products (bars, supplements, protein products) I’m actually saving money by getting it all in one with milk dust. The jar lasts me about 2 weeks, drinking daily, some days I have 2 shakes. The price reflects the quality. I’m just happy I finally found something that helps and tastes good!

Tasty Addition to My Morning Routine — Still Waiting on Supply Results
I’ve been using this breastfeeding protein powder for about a week now and overall, I like it. The vanilla flavor actually has a cinnamon-like taste, which I don’t mind at all—it’s a cozy flavor that mixes really well with my morning coffee. The texture is fine and mostly smooth, just a tiny bit chalky but nothing too noticeable. So far, I haven’t seen a change in my milk supply, but it’s still early, and I plan to finish the container before deciding if it really works for that. One downside is that it does make me a little gassy, but I’m hoping that eases up over time. What I do appreciate is that the ingredients are clean, which is really important to me while breastfeeding. It feels like a safe and healthy addition to my diet. Even if it doesn’t boost my supply, it’s a convenient way to get extra protein in the mornings.

Tastes horrible
Taste is horrible! Product is green which was totally unexpected especially from pictures description. Has a very weird taste. Doesn’t even taste like your typical protein had no sort of vanilla taste. I even mixed it with different things to see if it was more digestible since it’s very expensive for such a small container. Just can’t get over the taste. Just not worth it due to the price or the protein content.

Wonderful protein for nursing mamas
I was introduced to Milk Dust from my neighbor. She had been looking for a protein powder that would help with weight loss and milk supply. I had tried it a couple of time but honestly, didn't want to spend that much on protein powder. I had just had my third girl and my neighbor had had her fourth kids 6 weeks before me. Fast forward a few months and she had lost all her baby weight and I was still many pounds away from it. I decided to try it and I have loved it! I have noticed the flavor has curved my sweet tooth, helped me balance my eating habits all while keeping my milk supply constant. It has been a great addition to my daily routine! I have now introduced my sister (who had a little girl 2 1/2 months after me) and many of my nursing friends on to it. While I prefer Milk Dust in a smoothie, my sister will drink it mixed with water. The consistency and taste is one of the best protein powders I have tasted. This is an awesome protein powder for nursing moms and despite my initial thought well worth the money! Go out and try it, you won't regret it!

Should come with a warning/FYI
WARNING : I’m giving 3 stars because my experience was unique to me but I need to share First, the taste really isn’t bad, I blended with peanut butter & banana and it was really good! And I immediately noticed a decrease in sugar cravings However, I must share that this product contains fenugreek which I was not aware (nursing my 2nd child so after 20 months of breastfeeding) can have a NEGATIVE impact on milk supply! And when I say negative, I mean devastating! I was comfortably producing 3 full bottles while pumping at work, after 1 week on Milk Dust I cannot even produce 1 full bottle! When I reached out to the company, I got a very business driven response with no compassion whatsoever (hello, know your customer- we are emotional and trying so dang hard to survive each day) basically their response was “too bad, we don’t offer refunds. Try stopping and starting again to see if anything changes, oh and you could be sensitive to fenugreek” while I never even asked for a refund - my email was asking if they could help me understand why my supply had suffered so much in a short amount of time. I take responsibility for not being aware of each ingredient and the impact it can have but I will say I had to DIG To find out that fun fact about fenugreek and I don’t think it’s right to market a product without a disclaimer if negative affects are possible. Very disappointed with the customer service provided and the lack of interest and compassion from the associate who handled my email. Unfortunately I won’t be buying this product again, plan to finish the tub when I start the weaning process

Worth the price!
I have tried so many lactation supplements and aids, I tried this with cautious anticipation. Let me tell you, I'm not disappointed. Note: I do respond well to fenugreek products, which this powder contains. I've been drinking this for nine days, and so far I pump at least 1 oz more on average each time I pump. Baby is EBF, so I'm sure she's getting even more than the pump. I love the taste, blend-ability, and smoothness of this powder. It is very fine, so I usually add it into the drink/vessel over the sink. I mix it into smoothies, or just shake it up with some yogurt and water, milk, or even juice. I've tried it with several bases and fruits, and I've liked all the combos. I feel it gives me energy and makes me feel full. I cannot speak to the weight loss aspect as I don't actually crave sweets (as it's supposed to curb sweet cravings,) now if it satisfied cheese cravings...haha! That being said, I'm more interested in protein snacks- especially now, and that's a plus. My milk supply increasing and maintaining that increase was my main concern, and the stash of milk proves this is helping! I feel it is worth the price!

YES
Delicious. Blends/mixes with a shaker bottle or blender and it WORKS VERY WELL!! Felt my milk bulk up within 24 hours of starting it and I actually enjoy drinking it :) Price is rough but the quality is worth it.
