Thornell Kennel Odor Eliminator - 16 Ounce

Finally found a product that will take care of pet odors for my artificial turf and it might be the least expensive one too. I have tried pretty much every product out there for outdoor odor elimination and while some have proven to be effective for short periods of time, most seemed to just temporarily mask the smell. KOE actually knocks out the odor with a single spraying of my yard. I probably have a little less than 3,000 square feet of artificial turf and I use a few squeezes of KOE in a hose attachment that I reuse from a competitors product and cover the yard. One application every 1-2 weeks assuming you are picking up any dog droppings regularly should be enough to never have a smell again. I have 4 medium size dogs and nothing else seemed to be effective for more than a few days. This product costs way less per application than any of the others I have tried. A single bottle might cover 3-4 treatments of my yard and I use a good amount more than the vendor recommends, it might be wasteful but given the large area and the dilution with the hose it seems appropriate. It does leave an odor, but not an unpleasant one and it dissipates after only a few hours.This is a fantastic product and I highly recommend you give it a try.

Wanted to update my review after using this for several months. I have used the Clorox brand of Urine & Stain remover (happily) for several years. However, always good to try something new. This is a concentrate, so you dilute. Does it work? Yes, it appears to work. That said, the smell is just a tad unpleasant until it is dry/wiped up. You do need to follow the directions carefully (let the product set on the surface for at least 10-15 min) to get the best result. I have rescue dogs and a sheet vinyl floor; this did work nicely on the floor; I used a moistened rag to "wipe/rinse" the product, then dry the floor. I get a great result. Normally I have an everyday cleaner and, once weekly, I use a mild bleach/water solution to sterilize the entire area. I did use this in lieu of the bleach/water solution last weekend and it did a nice job. It's noted for working on concrete (dog runs, etc.) and I cannot speak to that. I would not use this on fabric or rugs (you can use Clorox Urine and Stain Remover on those surface), but is a good product for general use and much better than many others on the market (I've tried them all).

I totally loved this product, I had received small sample of K.O.E odor eliminator years ago and it is finally running out. I was glad that the label was not removed so I was able to order this again. I use it to wash all my dog's beddings, and their toys. I even use it in a squirt bottle so I can clean up after our cat's hairball.I have suggested this to friends of mine since most of my friends have large dogs. At that time this was on on Amazon and so I am glad that it is finally on Amazon.This is one of the best products that helps to keep kennels fresh. The scent is not overpowering so it's easy on the nose.A little goes a long ways with this. You do not need a lot and you just add it to your laundry machine as you would doing your own laundry. and you can still add your other products as you would.I highly recommend this.it is not harsh on the hands and I have not had any allergy reaction nor does my dog.Helps gets the dogs smell off of their products.I even used it to wash a bunch of stuff animals that were my fav to my one pup that passed. and it was time for me to move on. So I washed it and gave it back to the lady that I had purchased it from. She could not tell the difference but she did say it smelled really good. So proof is in the pudding.

I found KOE works *very* well...the best odor eliminator I've ever used. Most others I've tried over the years either don't remove urine odor at all (i.e. are just fragrances) or only neutralize an area for a day or so. KOE actually fully neutralizes the odor...until your dog pees there again (LOL!). I use this on a brick patio that is over 20 years old, and it's nice to have it not smelling like urine again once the area dries. The only reason for four vs. five stars is that despite the 1/4 oz. per gallon dilution, it is still VERY expensive (I'm using it with a hose end sprayer and the patio is 15' x 31'). I purchased the "mild ginger" scent and hate it...smells like men's aftershave to me! Seems they now have a "fresh scent" version, so I will try that next time.

Follow the directions and it works like a charm on urine and vomit.It has a pleasant ozone sort of smell that fades away fast.I will clean the area, then soak it in KOE and let it sit overnight and then clean the spot again and all the stain and odor will be gone. I'm house training a puppy; this stuff is valuable.

Mix ratio is not what is stated for home use. I spray on the couch and carpet to get rid of dog odors and it works wonders! Fill chamber on the right in spray bottle with water and you'll never buy frebreze again! My couch smelled like my dogs and used random things before buying this that just covered up the smell. After the first time I used this I had someone that doesn't live in my house smell my couch 24 hours later and they couldn't smell a thing! I use on everything now.... bed, pillows, bathroom, carpet and really anything including my drains!
