Direct replacement for swan system I have and great picture

These cameras are great for the price. I replaced my brand new Night Owl cameras that came with the DVR kit I bought after Thanksgiving. Color quality is better, wider viewing angle, better night vision coverage and clearer image, what is there not to like? For an inexpensive system that is not the latest whiz bang new device, these perform very well. I still have 3 remaining Night Owl cameras that are functional, but have no intention on using them. Great delivery with Amazon and easy install. I am no camera expert and this is my first install of one of these DVR units with cameras, it was easy to figure out how to hook them up, (thanks YouTube). Just be sure that any camera you buy is for the correct DVR system, as I tried to replace the first defective original manufacturer camera with one purchased at the local Best Buy store, but they were for HD DVR's only. Thankfully Amazon had these online for 1/2 the price of the OEM equipment and it is ten times better for my application.

I have an 8 camera system, which had old cameras on it. I read about the ZOSI Cameras on Amazon and I decieded to try one out. When I received the camera I installled it to check it out. There were lines in the picture but when I tryed the night vision I couldn't believe how great it was compared to my old cameras. I liked the night vision so much that I ordered another 3 cameras and installed them. All 3 of the cameras worked great day and night. Beings the first camera was defective I contacted the manufacturer ZOSI and worked with a tech named Yoyo.He took allo of the information about the camera and decieded that the camera really was defective. He sent out a replacement camera to me at no charge. Yoyo was a great person to work with on my problem. I think enough of the ZOSI cameras that I just ordered the last three which will complete my set of eight'

This is a pretty cheap camera. I was going to put out a dummy but found this inexpensive camera and figured I'd give it a shot. I have the camera under my soffet where it is protected from the rain, and heat from the sun. It has great daytime clarity! And the night vision turns night into day. Although the night vision is in gray scale, it is way better than I expected. I must say though that I have a street light at the end of my driveway, so it's not the ir leds that are providing the light ... they don't go as far. But the low light sensitivity of the camera was a delightful surprise. I can see things at night beyond my natural vision ... see in the dark, all the way across the street. Very happy. I wanted to have a longer range lens though, so I bought one on Amazon, but the original lens was glued in. So I emailed support to see if they had a camera with a 16mm lens, sadly they didn't and don't sell a camera that has a replaceable lens.

These are supposed to be all weather. I have (or had) eight of these mounted on all four sides and all four corners of my van. Two were stollen off the van before I had them hooked to the the recorder. Three wires out of 8 were bad. Two of the 8 cameras have water inside of them now so I just see fuzzy images of rain drops now. These camera are difficult to adjust. You have to get up and unscrew them to move them. If you try to move the camera without unscrewing it you will break the mount. I did that to one of them. I think I would prefer more stealthy cameras. These draw too much attention and they do deter thieves because thieves took a couple of these before I chased them off. These cameras do work well when they are hookup up and working. I think they would be much better used around a house or building than on a van or RV.They are cheap just $15 each so I can't complain. I still turn them on to check outside of my van since I do not have any windows on my van.

Cameras do not last they start pulsating on screen then discoloration shows up not even been hooked up 20 day! Don't buy this product. They don't even give you a 30 to 90 day defective window. It starts from the day you order. Not the day you receive! Faulty product do not buy!!

I have a 9 camera CCTV system on my home and the cameras are pretty old. Six of the 9 are completely useless in the dark. I took a chance and ordered 6 of these, the price is amazing and reviews seemed OK. Well I installed one yesterday to test, I am amazed at the quality of the image both in daytime and night. I replaced one of my bad cameras with a big name unit that cost $300 per camera, these $17 cameras are not quite as good in picture quality, but considering the cost they are fantastic. I installed only one to test so in case I had to return them I would only have to repackage one. But I will be installing the other 5 today. Incredible bang for the buck! And the icing on the cake was that the power and video plug on the camera are the same as the system in my home so swapping out the cameras is as easy as three screws and plug and play. No wire splicing.

I have an eight channel dvr with four cams. This cam hooked right up, no issues, out of the box.

Decent quality camera. I bought it to replace a much more expensive camera which recently failed. The quality of this camera is easily as good as the more expensive one and the night performance is very good indeed in quite a challenging location. Easy to fit because it has the standard male BNC connection for video and female socket for power (and takes 12V at 500mA) - so exactly what you would expect from an Analogue CCTV camera. The construction is quite solid and the camera looks the part. A nice feature is the hood at the front seems to be integral with the case which means it would be hard for a spider to take up residence under there (they love the warmth given off by cameras and if there is any space open anywhere in the body will move in). This is a big feature for me because they build webs which obscure images and mess up motion detection no end. The position adjustment (tilt etc) is not obvious at first but the knurled wheel on the base allows for rotation and locking, there is tilt adjustment in the stem holding the camera to the base and a further adjustment which allows rotation of the camera body relative to the stem. For the money it is very impressive and probably a quarter of what you would have paid for a similar spec camera 4 years ago.

Used these cameras to replace older ones which I think were 480tvl. Anyway the captured difference in the images is outstanding. The night time coverage which is in black and white is good near to the camera but becomes blurry at about 10 metres. This is still good enough for me. At roughly £16.00 per camera they are both cheaper and of far better spec than the cheapies you find for sale in supermarkets etc. I have installed a couple of them close to peanut feeders and birdtables so my wife can watch the birds visiting them. The results are very good with the species of bird clearly recognisable.
