Lightweight and functional. Many years of use.
This is a very nice glass and metal desk that I bought in 2016. In fact I am still using as I write this review. Its easy to assemble and easy to move around as its lightweight. I like the fact that the glass pieces have little rubber grippers that hold the pieces into place. Its solid and doesn't move and wiggle. The color goes with anything and solid and sturdy construction. The glass pieces are pretty thick and look to be about 1/4 inch and we have never had any issues with scratching or worry that they'll break easy. A nice enough desk for home office or gaming room.

Solid buy for someone who just needs the basics in an L-shape desk.
I ordered this desk after my roommate had no issues with his for about 8 months. It arrived on-time and with no shipping or packaging issues, and contained all of the parts required to assemble it (including a hex key, the only tool required). Assembling the desk is fairly easy for a single person even with the relatively spartan instructions provided (literally four steps). The desk comes in about 12 metal pieces and 3 glass pieces, with a couple small hex socket bolts and rubber suction cups to hold the whole thing together. Total assembly time for two people (we had spare hex keys and started at opposite ends of the desk) was about 20 minutes, including restarting the process halfway through due to reversing two of the legs. The desk itself is pretty sturdy for such a skeletal design. The glass surface easily supports my two 27-inch curved displays, a heavy server blade-sized ethernet switch, an Xbox One, various heavy books, and bits of small electronics. The glass seems fairly tough and doesn't seem to scratch easily. My only gripe is that no matter what angle it's held at, the desk is always just slightly too large to fit through interior doors. You can work around this by removing the bolts on one side of the corner bit and just moving the desk in two pieces. Since all you need is the provided hex key (or any of the same size) it's pretty quick to take apart and put back together at the destination.

I know it is a good desk, though I have yet to open the box hahaha.
It is still in the box hahaha. For me I know it is a thick desk and very heavy.

Spacious and sturdy computer desk
This desk arrived safely and well packaged. The box is quite heavy, but I was able to get it inside myself. The packaging is a bit messy due to all of the Styrofoam needed to protect the glass, so be prepared to vacuum when you're finished putting the desk together. None of the glass was damaged at all when it arrived. Construction was fairly simple and took me about 45 minutes to complete everything myself. All of the needed hardware was included. The instructions leave a little be desired, as it's just a single page with only a few vague illustrations. But it's fairly straightforward, so it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out. The desk is very study, which was my main concern. It's also quite spacious. I'm able to fit two computer monitors, a set of bookshelf speakers, my modem and router, and a host of music gear on it. On my desk, the center glass piece sits just a tiny bit higher than the side pieces, but it's not enough to bother me at all the way I am using it. The glass edges are a bit rounded, so it's not uncomfortable on my arms for typing and gaming. If you're looking for an affordable, spacious, and sturdy desk; this may fit the bill.

Cheap, yet good desk for gaming, work and/or other activities.
Honestly, I got one of these back in 2019, and have purchased another at the start of 2022. With how easy it is to build, you can easily take two of them and make a decently big desk, and still have a spare desk for another room. It's sturdy without a doubt, however I'd recommend after first building it, tighten it a bit more as the frame bends around the supports. I have no complaints about this product.

Good for This Student
This desk isn’t perfect. One of the pieces was bent slightly when I took it out of the box. The glass doesn’t seem to fit quite right. There are places where the paint is chipped or scratched. It was annoying to assemble (though not difficult). With that being said, however, I needed an inexpensive desk to do my copious amounts of pharmacy school homework. This will be absolutely perfect for that. It gives me the space I need and looks pretty decent, all things considered. It feels pretty sturdy - I’m sure it can handle my books and laptop without a problem. I imagine this desk will last me for a while. In short - not perfect, but worth it for the price.

Love this desk...Easy to assemble and is super handsome and versatile.
The desk arrived on time; it was super easy to assemble and looks great in almost any situation however, fits best in a modern or retro-modern minimalist interior decorum; it's clear glass so it's always a winner and always functional; it has the perfect height at almost two and half feet (I'm not sure why the quality engineers would design this desk at two feet five inches--rather than two feet and six inches-- but that's the technical height); for the price we paid, it almost feels wrong to have this desk; it was a steal--like a "guilty pleasure." I'm going buy a couple more in the future for an economical office situation.

It's nice, just know glass isn't secured
There's certainly good and bad with this desk. Pros - It looks great Fairly easy to assemble Sturdy No personal tools required (everything needed is in the box) Good size desk - and I like that the left side = right side Pieces clearly labeled Cons - Hard to move once put together The glass isn't secure AT ALL Directions to put together aren't good at all (just some pics) So one big con to me is that if you bump into the desk at all, you'll easily pick up the glass plus whatever you've got on the desk, of course. The glass is secured by these little suction cup type things that really don't do a whole lot. I'm in an electric wheelchair so sometimes I don't maneuver the right way and with that, can lead to me bumping into the desk. This means I could easily pull up the glass, possibly break things. I don't love that. If I knew the glass wasn't actually secured into the desk, I would not have bought this item. That said, though, it does look nice, and it's sturdy. I don't plan to return it mostly because I'd have to take it apart, and don't want to have to deal with that. Aside for the glass not being secure, I'd say it's a good buy if that doesn't bother you. I wanted to mention it in case others had the impression that it would somehow lock into the desk (like I did). I'm disappointed this isn't made clearer - or, better yet, that they didn't find a way to secure it better. It is glass, after all. You don't want it pulling up/shifting, possibly breaking on someone for the sheer fact it isn't secured into the desk. Anyways, I'm beating that drum too much. :) I just wanted to throw it out there for anyone curious. If this isn't an issue, I'd say go for it. You'll probably like it. For me, that's the one major flaw.

Great desk, just be sure to clean it regularly.
Its a stylish, economical additional to my office space. It was not hard to assemble and to maintain, sometimes I've have to reposition the glass pane that my laptop sits on because I assume when I'm on my laptop my forearms more some contact with the glasses' edge and I must ever so slight push it back. But that is a minor annoyance and only if you want to be charitable. I will say this however, although I'm not a clean freak, this glass top desk has made me a lot more self-conscious about dust and messes. I'd highly recommend dusting it regularly and not to eat messy foods. I have to wash mine everytime I make myself my favourite Bacon Jerky Ramen bowls.

Large working area, easy to clean, and made of strong materials
I spent a long time looking at wooden desks while searching for a good L-shaped desk with a good amount of usable surface. However, most of what I could find was just cheap particleboard with some thin printed laminate on top - materials that fall apart over time as the screws slowly strip the wood, and moisture damages the laminate. This metal and glass desk seems to address all my concerns. Rather than putting screws into wood, the holes are cut into metal so it can be disassembled and reassembled repeatedly without worrying about stripping the holes. The glass surface is also waterproof (it's glass, after all), so there are no worries that water will permanently warp or damage the desk. The transparent surface of the desk also helps your room feel brighter because it doesn't block light, and you can also see anything you accidentally drop below it. Once it was assembled, the desk felt stable and didn't sway when force was applied to it. The only complaint I have is that the suction cups seem to allow the glass surface to slide slightly as the desk is used, meaning I occasionally need to slide it back into place. Have metal or rubber guards in place to prevent this kind of sliding would have been much better, as that's my only real complaint about the desk.

This desk is sturdy, spacious and pretty sleek for most rooms and atmospheres.
This desk is sturdy, spacious and pretty sleek for most rooms and atmospheres. Although I'd recommend two people for an even more flawless assembly, it can certainly be done with just yourself. I really can't comment on size, as that's relative, and what's small for me might be huge for somebody else. Unless you are a complete hoarder, the space that this desk provides should be more than enough. Although the frame is very light weight, but very sturdy once it's together.
