I love this Tuner. I am a violin instructor and this tuner helps to make sure my students and I are 100% in tune!I have friends and students who have the snark tuner, but I think this tuner is a much better option because it tunes many different instruments (not just the violin) and also offers a metronome option. It is also awesome because you don't have to clip it onto your instrument to tune it, you can just set it near by and it works great. I love this tuner and I have grown to rely on it!

I definitely like this product, but the instructions were a little difficult to use. For example, the 'V' that indicates violin looks more like some kind of little bird. I also thought I was supposed to turn on the tone and tune to it- I didn't realize I just played and the device would recognize the tone by itself. Now that I've figured it out I am delighted to say it works perfectly. So chalk that up to user error! I only got it earlier this week so I can't speak to how durable or long-lasting it is, but my cat knocked it onto the tile floor and it didn't shatter, so that's a point in its favor. I hope it lasts a good long while! I'm only just picking up my violin again after a two-decade break, so this thing was marvelously helpful at retraining my ear at tuning.

This would have been cool if it hadn't broken within the first two days. We returned it for a refund. I guess having a metronome and tuner in one package was just too good to be true.

Tuner is crap. The cord kept popping out and after using it about 4 times, the tuner doesn't work at all anymore. Still good as a metronome but I'll be getting a different tuner.

I really like this tuner. I teach a group guitar/bass class for middle school and high school age students and have an eclectic mix of electronic tuners. The GMT-4 Metro-Tuner has quickly become a student favorite. It has a large easy-to-read, easy-to-understand display that lights up green when you're in tune - leaving no doubt and the clip-on pick up it comes with makes it great for tuning acoustic instruments. And it's affordable. Overall, this is going to be the electronic tuner I start recommending to students.

The metronome works fine but could not get the tuner to work. Called Mike for support and left a callback as instructed but no one has returned my call for weeks now. Should have just returned it.They made good on the purchase and replaced it.

did not come on even after i changed batteries with my working channel changer and different fresh batteries...
