L’Oreal Paris Elvive 8 Second Wonder Water Lamellar, Rinse out Moisturizing Hair Treatment for Silky, Shiny Looking Hair, 6.8 FL; Oz

I was skeptical, but this really does make my hair look smoother and shinier, and I love the smell (but would caution that it is scented, if you prefer no fragrance). I have long, thick hair, so sadly, one bottle doesn't last as long as I'd like, and the price has increased, but I'll continue to buy because I think the results are worth it!

I have never written a review before, but I am so impressed with this product that I just had to. I have very thick, long hair that has become crunchy and brittle. I did a bunch of research and decided to go with Wonder Water because of the affordability. So glad I did. After only one use, my soft bouncy curls are back! I did use conditioner afterwards (directions say you can or not). I am excited to keep this in my routine and see how nice my hair feels after regular use. FYI, it does take longer for your hair to dry, but who cares? So worth it.

So far it’s nice. I washed may hair as usual and lightly squeezed out some water from my hair then about a 1/3 ways down from the roots/top of my head is where I applied the product I didn’t use the recommended amount which is 20ml because I felt enough of the product was evenly distributed in my hair without using the full 20ml. I do have long hair and it worked out without applying so much. After letting it sit in my hair for a few minutes I gently rinsed out the liquid conditioner. While still wet it felt very smooth and when it dried naturally my hair was easy to comb and smelled very nice. I like it due to its weightlessness and the pretty scent which has lasted up until my next wash. Pros: ease of use/no build up on scalp/long lasting pleasant scent/conditions hair. Cons: ingredients are made with alcohol which can strip the hair’s natural oils and price can be a few dollars less Overall is a nice product I won’t buy often but will occasionally when needing to pack light

This L’Oréal elvivie 8 second wonder bottle works like magic. I use this a a final rinse and it makes my hair soft soft and manageable. Easy to use in shower. Great Product! Definitely recommend it!

This stuff is the missing link sometimes. I find that if I want to do a LIGHT wash then this is great as a follow up. Sometimes too my regular conditioner may not give me enough slip, so I’ll throw this on for 8ish seconds.

I treat my hair in accordance with all the best hair care advice. The only problem I've wrestled with for my hair is that my hair cuticle likes to rough up easily. It's always been this way, just how it is for most blondes with fine hair. I gave this product a shot due to the claims and the friendly price point. After the first use, wow! I loved the results! I followed the directions exactly with the proper dose and quick 8 second duration. Buuuut... I noticed TONS of hair fell out as I rinsed it. I *never* let hair collect on the floor/drain, so as I rinsed, I had a truly significant bunch of hair in my hand when I was done. This is completely abnormal for me. I shrugged it off the first time, as I have lots of hair. I waited a week to use it again, and the same thing happened. Nothing else changed in my hair routine. This product will make you lose a lot of hair if it touches your roots. I was very upset, because the other results are great. I now only apply this product about 5 or 6 inches away from my scalp. As long as I give my roots a wide berth, I don't lose extra hair. Here is my hair type and hair care routine fyi. I am extremely gentle with my hair: I am 30, have very long, straight, and healthy blonde hair. Shiny, strong, tons of hair growth, etc. I brush gently with a wet brush starting at the bottom , holding above with my hand, and working my way up prior to showering to detangle and get rid of loose hairs. I do not have an oily scalp, so I shampoo every 3 days and on only the scalp area and rinse, then condition from about 4 inches away from my roots to my ends. I use nice products like RedKen, Tigi, and Pureology. I gently massage the products with finger pads or my knuckles, so no nails, no scrubbing, no twisting, etc, and never against the cuticle direction. After my shower I gently squeeze/pat my hair dry with a towel and let it air dry. Other than a leave in conditioner for an added pop of moisture and shine, I never use styling products such as hair spray, and I never use a blow dryer or hot styling tools, and I almost never wear hair styles or holders that are harsh on my strands.

Smells great and I am sensitive to fragrance and can get a headache if too strong. This stuff makes my naturally salt and pepper hair less wiry looking and makes it more shiny.

This is amazing. My hair is much more smooth and the product worked quickly. I have fine hair and it did not make my hair look oily and didn't weigh it down.

I wish this treatment was invented ages back. You cà use it every 3rd wash and the results are amazing Hair is soft manageable and shiny. I could never achieve this effect with any other treatment both at salon or at home.
