(I have tips further down in my review for anyone needing help!) My hair is super, super damaged after a little bit of a bleaching incident on top of years of bleaching and dyeing, and I have naturally curly, ethnic hair to boot, so it's always begging for moisture and conditioning. I'd tried (almost) everything I could at home, but nothing made even a slight improvement, even when I felt I was doing everything "right". After I started using this treatment, I did not see results right away, and I wondered if my hair was just too damaged to fix at this point. However, after about two months of use (I wash my hair about 1x/week, so about 6-8 uses) I saw a sudden, drastic improvement! It was shiny, no longer felt as "hay-like", it even has a lot more flexibility and bounce even when I use heat styling tools! It feels better than it has since I was a kid! I will say, if your hair is thirsty, I don't feel this *adds* moisture, but I do think it helps repair damage so the moisture you add with conditioners doesn't immediately get sucked out, so keep that in mind. Here are some tips, at least as far as what helped me: - It says to make sure your hair is clean before using it. I condition my hair more often than I wash it, but I only noticed a difference after washing, so definitely follow those instructions; only apply this to clean hair without any other product. - It also says you may use another conditioner after using the rinse "if needed". If you have dry and/or curly hair, you NEED to use conditioner after this. It was a game changer. - I had a hard time figuring out exactly how to evenly apply an entire dose in 8 seconds and always under-dosed. What worked best for me is not to worry about the dosing so much and instead do this: After washing your hair, GENTLY wring out about half of the water in your hair, then go in small sections. Dispense a coin size amount (really doesn't matter what coin lol) into your palm and work from one side of your head to the other. I like to start with my top layers, rinse, do the bottom layers, rinse, and then go back over all my ends and anything with extra damage. If you have really long hair you might want to bring some hair ties with you. - I'm going to reiterate this one because it helped the most: don't be afraid to RINSE and REAPPLY! Don't try to just leave it on longer, it doesn't work very well that way. - Let your hair dry at least 75% before trying to apply any other products after this one. I also tend to towel dry until it's no longer dripping, then I use one of my satin bonnets to keep it from drying too fast. I also recommend using leave-in conditioner in addition if your hair is suffering too! I hope this review helps some folks! All in all, this is an awesome, awesome product and if you use it right it will almost definitely help!

I was skeptical, but this really does make my hair look smoother and shinier, and I love the smell (but would caution that it is scented, if you prefer no fragrance). I have long, thick hair, so sadly, one bottle doesn't last as long as I'd like, and the price has increased, but I'll continue to buy because I think the results are worth it!

I have used this once and it’s been a few weeks. I’ve even colored my hair and my hair is still shiny and smooth. This took my tangles out immediately. Made my hair feel lighter, not so heavy and it definitely took the frizz and dullness away. I have very oily hair so anything makes it oily so I avoided my scalp. It says to wash hair and then put on the measured amount ( it’s marked on the bottle ) onto your hair and let it set for 8 seconds. So when starting obviously that first section will meet the 8 seconds much sooner than the other part of your hair but after more research it states that’s ok. It won’t damage your hair. You can keep it on longer but it also won’t do more repair. So basically as long as the hair treated each has it on for atleast 8 seconds it’s good. Do not use 48 hours before or after coloring. You can also condition too before using this BUT my oily hair didn’t require conditioner too. I will be using this once a month. I can see if someone used it once a week it wouldn’t last. I do not see a person using it after every wash but if they did, it would t last long and there would predictively be a lot of buildup.

I treat my hair in accordance with all the best hair care advice. The only problem I've wrestled with for my hair is that my hair cuticle likes to rough up easily. It's always been this way, just how it is for most blondes with fine hair. I gave this product a shot due to the claims and the friendly price point. After the first use, wow! I loved the results! I followed the directions exactly with the proper dose and quick 8 second duration. Buuuut... I noticed TONS of hair fell out as I rinsed it. I *never* let hair collect on the floor/drain, so as I rinsed, I had a truly significant bunch of hair in my hand when I was done. This is completely abnormal for me. I shrugged it off the first time, as I have lots of hair. I waited a week to use it again, and the same thing happened. Nothing else changed in my hair routine. This product will make you lose a lot of hair if it touches your roots. I was very upset, because the other results are great. I now only apply this product about 5 or 6 inches away from my scalp. As long as I give my roots a wide berth, I don't lose extra hair. Here is my hair type and hair care routine fyi. I am extremely gentle with my hair: I am 30, have very long, straight, and healthy blonde hair. Shiny, strong, tons of hair growth, etc. I brush gently with a wet brush starting at the bottom , holding above with my hand, and working my way up prior to showering to detangle and get rid of loose hairs. I do not have an oily scalp, so I shampoo every 3 days and on only the scalp area and rinse, then condition from about 4 inches away from my roots to my ends. I use nice products like RedKen, Tigi, and Pureology. I gently massage the products with finger pads or my knuckles, so no nails, no scrubbing, no twisting, etc, and never against the cuticle direction. After my shower I gently squeeze/pat my hair dry with a towel and let it air dry. Other than a leave in conditioner for an added pop of moisture and shine, I never use styling products such as hair spray, and I never use a blow dryer or hot styling tools, and I almost never wear hair styles or holders that are harsh on my strands.

I can’t belive this product works so well. My hair was so dry and knotted and this product made it soft in 10 seconds. Highly recommended
