It's got a nutty/chocolaty flavor. It's smooth, great caffeine content, and doesn't aggrivate my stomach like coffee usually does. Best in a French Press, use a hotter temperature than my Black and Decker five-cup has. It's too expensive to drink daily, this is best reserved for special occasions and holiday gatherings.

I’m a coffee lover. I usually do not have my coffee black because it’s too bitter. This one you can brew and drink. Don’t even need to sweeten it because it’s very smooth. It has an undertone of maybe cocoa flavor or something like that. I’m not a black coffee drinker so I still added a bit of cream but I tried it without any first. I can honestly say that I would not spend $400 for a bag because it’s not that extraordinary. My taste buds enjoyed it but did not have an orgasm. I like my coffee like I like my men, strong and robust. This bag yields quite a few cups. Enough to invite some friends over for the taste experience.

Bought this on a whim, I remember seeing a discovery channel special on the Kopi Luwak Civet coffee trade and it's rarity and being the most expensive coffee in the world. I think the $30 to $40 price tag is acceptable for what you get. The 8.8 ounce is enough for a couple pots (10 cups each) and even shared some with my co-workers. We all agreed it's a very low acidity, mild smooth coffee but rich flavor at the same time. I think half the fun is watching everyone's first sip unsure of what it's going to taste like! Perfect for a dinner party to start some conversation after you tell them what they are drinking ;) I will definitely get this again for special occasions but probably not as my daily brew due to cost. All in all really liked it.

Super smooth flavor. Only made 2 small pots. But if you’re just looking for a sample size this is it. Tastes great.

This coffee does have a smooth taste, but I definitely enjoy my coffee stronger. More than one person tried and also said the same thing. Cost is too much as nothing stood out much about this coffee.

Smooth taste, no acidity or bitterness at all. This is the first coffee I can drink by itself (without sweetener or cream). I will buy again.

We have a family consensus. (1) The ground beans smell fantastic--sweet and spicy like Christmas coffee. You can definitely get the chocolate/caramel vibe there. (2) The brewed coffee is "smooth." It doesn't need cream because there is no bitterness at all. I have to use a lot of imagination to get the choc/caramel from the brew, but our daughter says she can taste it. Very pleasant. As for "value for money," if you have to ask, you can't afford it. Go drink Sanka.
