my locs are 6 months old and the products i have tried so far doesn’t hold my hair alone and i need a mixture of products. I used this product for the first time today and the scent is AMAZING!!! The texture and consistency is great, its lightweight and a little goes a LOOONG way. It gives me the hold im looking for and also very moisturizing which i LOVE!!! There are complaints of damage to the jar which was half empty, (likely delivery) but my experience was the exact opposite. The photo of the jar i took is after one use, it will definitely last. I cant attest to the hold long term just yet but i am sold. The fact that the product held my hair on its own amazed me, so for me it makes more since to buy this product than spend the same if not more on multiple to achieve the same result without the built up product and drying!! JUST BUY IT

It smells amazing but not sure if it worked for my 4C hair as my hair was a bit harder and frizzy than normal. The texture is very nice and its water based if that is what you need.

I wanted to try something new with twisting my dreads. I have used another product for almost 20 years. I love the smell and you only need to use a little of the product. It truly holds for a long time! I don't retwist often-maybe every other month. The directions say to use on shampooed hair. After the 2nd time using it, I washed the hair the night before, and when my hair was dry I retwisted my hair. Wow and another wow, major difference! All positive!! My retwist looked tremendously better and healthy looking! I thought I had went to the shop and got my hair done professionally! It's a little pricey but the jar last me months! So it truly worth the cost!! I'm now a customer for life!!

This product smells so good and I’m not playing around when I say that. It’s almost like a sweet fruit smell but not so fruity smell, if that makes sense 10/10. It’s not a gel type but creamy kind of FIRM LOCK moisturizer. It doesn’t hold immediately after a re-twist but as long as you clip them each down and allow them to dry a few hours. For me, they held up very well up to a couple of weeks. I tried using the other moisturizer that looks and smells just like the firm hold one using the same method and it didn’t hold at all, so don’t get them confused. I have no real cons besides it could’ve been a little bit more in there for the price. Still doesn’t change how I feel about this product.

I love this Lion Locs and the smell it's amazing. I've been using it for about 7 yrs it's always been a creamy white color so I noticed the last 2 recent container it's not a creamy color any more what happen did something change like ingredients? Please let me know what happen to the creamy white Lion Locs y'all had for years😱 that's why I gave 3 stars your company didn't even inform the customer it looks very old looking 🤔 what happen to the white plastic top that covers moisturizer up when first purchase

I first purchased in 2024 shortly after beginning my daughter’s locs and I have used anything else since discovering this product t. I am purchasing my 3 jar today. It does exactly what it says! It holds, leaves on residue, and you don’t need much product. Now that I trust this brand, I may begin looking at there products as well.

I usually only retwist my hair with oil because I hate greasy and overly gelled hair. But this— this is amazing. Light weight and it lasts!
