Melissa Mini Leather Crossbody Tote Bag

LURV ❤️I spent weeks trying to decide which color Frye mini tote to get and decided on the Ice color. Very happy I finally bought this! Tote is tiny & the color is GORGEOUS- a very nice light gray (my favorite color)!! This bag fits a full size women’s wallet, phone, keys and lip gloss and not much else. If you need a ton of room then don’t buy this bag. If you pack light, this is the cutest, most stylish little leather tote. It did not come with that nice, strong leather smell which was a little disappointing... however, it is dang sturdy and of great quality imo, and packaged very nicely (easy to unpack/unwrap).

Debated for quite a while on which Frye purse to purchase. Looked at quite a few before deciding on this one. I love the size, it's perfect for me. Not too large, not too small. (It could be a couple of inches bigger, but no big deal.). Unfortunately, it's not as well made as other Frye bags that I have. The handles are coming apart and the inside tab that the shoulder strap is attached to is losing it's sticking. That's not the deal breaker, you can just attach the strap to the rings on the handles. The fact that the handle is coming apart after less than two weeks use, is what upsets me. I ordered this in September but did not use it right of away and now it is past the return date. As much as I love Frye bags, I would have to think long and hard about buying another one, the quality of workmanship is just not there.

This bag is simply beautiful. I got it in the Fern and the color is gorgeous. It is just the right size for me. I love that the long strap is removable. The leather is such good quality. Yes, it does scratch easily, but that is the case with all Frye handbags (it is a sign of quality leather). Most scratches can be buffed to look less "scratched". However, the scratches over time just add to the look of the bag (will give it a worn, vintage look). This is not my first Frye and will not be my last.

Definitely smaller than I realized. Big enough to hold the essentials. The straps are small-ish so it can only go so far up my forearm. Highly suggested for a durable, casual, small WRIST tote. To me a "tote" purse implies a larger sized bag - this purse is not that.

I was looking for a stylish leather handbag that didn't weigh as much as my regular purses. This is really small. It does hold my fairly-large wallet, keys, and cell phone, but not much else. I usually carry a small Kindle with me and that barely fits. I'm not fond of the color, either. It is dark brown that is very drab and looks shabby. That's OK, but a different color would be more appealing. It does have a shoulder strap which makes is useful. I'm not going to send it back, but I won't use it except for certain activities.

Was so excited to get this bag...I have had the full size melissa tote for a couple years but wanted something smaller...I went to put on the shoulder strap and the band inside the purse is broken...haven't even put nothing in there yet

Frye bags are always great quality, and this is no exception. Very cute bag with a nice long handle to wear cross-body. The magnetic closure seems pretty strong to keep it shut. Color note: I ordered the dark brown. The picture shows a color that (on all of my screens) looks kind of like mahogany brown. The actual color has less red in it. More like the color of a milk chocolate bar. Still, I like the color in its own right and it's a keeper.

Love this little tote! Can't believe how much it holds. Full size wallet, phone, gum, comb,small cosmetic bag. At least everything that I carry. Beautiful color and top quality leather. I would recommend
