These are made of 100% cotton. They are meant to be used over and over. This is not a one-time-use product. I suppose if you wanted to dispose of them, they would be biodegradable, because they are just cotton.

These are 100% cotton fabric, very lightweight. I fold them into 4ths to get more absorbency from them for drying my face rather than wasting tissues. :-)
