Great Replacement Ford Trailer Plug.
Plug and play...hard to beat this for a Ford pickup. I have a 2000 F250, and this fit perfect with no problems at all. Works perfect. Great OEM replacement as the plug matches the factory plug perfect. If I could give it a 10, I would! Much less than the factory part, and this is in every way the same quality, perhaps OEM part?

Perfect replacement for 1999 Ford F-350 7-way
The 7-way plug that came on my used '99 F-350 worked okay, but over time the spring on the cover popped out, and every now and then while towing I noticed the trailer plug would wiggle loose and I'd lose the trailer brakes. Figuring it was time for a replacement, I found this. It was a perfect match for the factory harness under the driver-side rear bumper area. Unplugged the old one, plugged this one in and tested all the wiring to make sure it was correct and it all looks good. The old bracket didn't fit this, even after I tried drilling new holes. The old bracket simply wasn't wide enough. So I ordered a new bracket, and this one is a perfect fit - the holes in it align great with this harness: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BGM4IE That bracket comes with bolts/nuts and some self-tapping screws. I used the bolts and nuts to mount this harness, but I used some larger nuts and bolts I had lying around to mount the bracket to the truck, just to make sure it stayed put. I've had bad experiences with self-tapping screws rusting and falling out, and that'd be bad to have that happen on a mounting bracket for your trailer plug. Since this tow harness didn't come with any kind of nuts/bolts for attaching to a bracket, I'm glad the bracket came with them. I had a few I could have used but I wasn't sure they were stainless and probably wouldn't have worked. So just make sure whatever you use to mount this to your vehicle is some quality hardware, outdoor rated.

Direct fit to a 1999.5 F350 originally sold a with 4 pin plug
Unplugged and saved the original 4 pin plug and harness. Plugged in this new 7 pin plug and harness. Mounted a bracket for the plug and off I go. Only issue I had was trying to figure out where the two relays and fuses went. One of the 30 amp fuses was already installed from Ford (#16). The other needed to be installed (#28). The two relays supposedly go in a small block adjacent/inboard of the main under hood power distribution box. When I popped the lid of that small block there were two empty spots for relays, so I plugged them in there. Both spots had 12 volts available so it all should work. Haven't tried it yet. Fingers crossed.

Cheaper than Ford
Fit and works as it should. wires and connector looked oem quality but 7 blade plug looks and felt cheap. Still working though.

Perfect fit on F250 stock plug.
Works perfectly for my 1999 f250 7.3L diesel. Just remember look for the grey plug under dash to connect plug harness into. Ford put the same colored wires under steering column with NO plug, just bare wires that do nothing with brake controller. FYI.

Plug and play.
Doesn’t get much easer than just plugging it up.

Receptacle built wrong
At first I was excited, the price was great and the materials and construction look good. However, that is where the honeymoon ended. After installing I hooked up to 1 of my 4 trailers, and had no running lights. Checked the other trailers and while the house trailer worked the plug would not remain secured. Turns out, the receptacle for the trailer plug is built such that you cannot fully insert any normal plug sufficiently. So on 3 of my trailers I don't make contact on one or more points and on the one I do make contact it will take one small bump and the plug will fly out of the receptacle completely.

Plug in and head out!
Looked for this everyone was very happy to find it on Amazon and at a good price! It’s getting hard to find parts that are reasonably priced for older vehicles! The only disappointment was that it did not come with the mounting bracket but I was able to get one at the store for a couple of bucks🤗 it just would’ve been more convenient🤗
