I have fed this product both Mexican dwarf and full size red crawfish, as well as freshwater cherry shrimp. The larger crawfish liked it a lot more than the small or tiny critters. I don't like how any uneaten pellets turn bright white and puffy. It is too hard for the smaller shrimp to eat, when first dropped into the tank. I do think this is good to have on hand to provide some variety to their diet. Mostly I feed them 'Fluval Shrimp granules'.

I can't believe I am writing a review about crayfish food but the stuff was gobbled up. The crayfish were not really eating other things that we put in the tank. We shook a couple pellets of this in and within minutes they swarmed the food. Every one of them seems to be growing. They continue to eat this. The food does not smell bad and is easy to pour out of the container. Totally worth the price.

Fish love this product

I bought some fresh crawfish at the supermarket to cook up the other day but my son wanted me to Pardon two of them. However, there was no food for then. I Found this on Amazon at areasonable price. It shipped free with Prime in less than 48 hours. They love it and I just sprinkle it throughout the aquarium and they walk around and find the pellets between the rocks.

The pieces are very hard until they soak a while and too small in size.

This product is a total waste of money because shrimps do not eat them!!! I can bet other creatures listed on the item doesn't eat them either.

When I first tried this stuff, it was mostly ignored by all the fish, and the shrimps did not see it as food. So they got really moldy and messed the tank up. But I have had fish all my life, and fish and shrimps may be small and look dumb, but they are far from stupid. When they find something new, they wait for some sucker to try it first, usually the hungriest. Like, Mickey he'll eat anything. You know, let Mickey try it, but ounce they get over the apprehension, they take to it and even anticipate it, and are waiting in their favourite spot for it at feeding time. The guppies love to nip at it, the shrimp get down stream to catch it as it dissolves. It's a great plant based supplement, and it keeps them busy for a while so they don't get bored between feedings, especially at last feeding of the day, since it's a long wait for morning. I wish it came in a larger and cheaper container, but it is what it is. I like this stuff, and fish, snails, and shrimps do to. You just need to introduce it slowly, give Mickey a chance to try it. ;) My shrimps are breading and growing well, so I guess it works. : )

the packaging looks like some really cheap low quality food But it's actually quite nice. Everything in my aquarium goes for it, it doesn't foul the water, and has good nutritional value.

My dwarf lobster loves these pellets. So do the snails. It has not clouded my water at all and the food is cheap to buy. My lobster has been alive over a year living on these pellets so it must do the trick. I've had shrimp before and they preferred smaller pellets or granules. The pellets are hard but they sink where I want them to go and the lobster makes quick work of the pellet. I would recommend highly for a lobster.
