So it’s imported wood from the US but made in China?

On Amazon, there are no wood hangers made in the USA. There are only plastic and some plastic over metal (Bend & Hook brand) that are actually made in the USA. If the listing does not tout "Made in the USA" clearly on any listing, you can bet your bottom dollar that the item is NOT made in the USA. If you want wooden hangers actually made in the USA, you will have to pay a premium, but it can be done. Usually, made in the USA wooden hangers will cost around $15.00 - $25.00 per hanger, but it's worth that price, at least to me.

How long does the cedar smell last? Does it go away after awhile?

Are these true cedars? eastern red cedar (juniperus virginiana) and western red cedar (thuja plicata) are not true cedars.
