SIMPATCH – Dexcom G6 Adhesive Patch (25-Pack) – Waterproof Adhesive, CGM Patches (Beige)

I love this to keep my T1D's Dexcom in place in the summer. The opening fits snug to the transmitter so there is no water seeping in like it seems to do when we use the Dexcom overpatch (and then it all falls off before our 10 days is up). Its great for beach days, pool days, lots of sunscreen and sweating. It rarely peels until your ready to take it off. It's a great product.

My son uses these. Durable, may start to peel after several days. But does stay on the 10 days.

The adhesion of this over patch works well for me but getting there is a challenge. The peel off back paper seems to be very poorly engineered. It has perforations as if to be some sort of "easy peel" but that's not the case in my experience. Perforations are simply not cut deeply enough to separate which makes the perforations about useless. I end up having to peel off the entire back at once then try to manage getting it over my G6 and lay flat without it sticking to itself or my fingers. A little better application engineering and this product could be a solid 5-Star!

I have been using this product for over 4 years. I repurchased this product last month and noticed the adhesion wasn't very good. I contacted Amazon, of course, they replaced without problem. Now I noticed the new pack isn't adhering very well also. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE GLUE. I guess it's time to look for a new product.Also, you may know, if this product doesn't adhere the dexcom g6 will come with it . That is a cost I don't want to incur for a band aid.

This is my second patch on the same transmitter. The adhesive doesn’t last a week. I prepped the site but still have it coming off. I do work out frequently and sweat on top of the water usage in the shower. Overall I don’t mind changing the tape because it doesn’t life the Dexcom tape. It is just ok.

The media could not be loaded.  90% of the time these are fantastic! But some of the time they come off in various manners and end up needing to be replaced and for someone who is allergic to adhesive, this is a chore and a big process. Otherwise I love them and they really can hold up to the wear and tear.

I have put two on from two different sensor sessions and neither of them stays stuck on my body. It's always one side or the other that comes undone after a shower. Then I have to put adhesive underneath this product's side to make sure it stays on for 10 days. My problem is the adhesive I have a reaction to that I have to put on in order to keep this product on my body. Defeats the whole purpose of getting this product. Look for a different product.

Item arrived sooner than expected. I’ve just put the patch on but expect it will do a great job on keeping the g6 in place.Quick and courteous response from customer service is a definite 5 star!**the patch works amazingly! No issues at all! No lifting at the edges, completely secure. Easy to remove when changing the sensor**

When used with Skin-Tac my dexcom g6 is safe and secure for 10 days - worry free.Great amounts of scretch for contoured fit. Strong adhesive. Stands up to showers and pools.The perforation could be better as they are a bit tricky to remove the backing. But otherwise a great design.

Keep my dexcom in place for the entire 10 days no problem at all! Even go swimming in it, showering and it doesn't even move!

First one was OK, a bit of itching and generally not noticeable. With the second and third one it got progressively worse - to a point where I was forced to remove the sensor earlier than its expiry. The whole area under the patch seemed like it was some sort of a chemical burn (remains for a week or so after the removal) - this already happened two times and I am forced to discontinue the use of these patches. I do not have any known allergies to anything or skin conditions, so this is definitely the adhesive itself. Unfortunately, I can’t NOT use an overpatch because with my active lifestyle, Dexcom’s native smaller patch just doesn’t stay on for long (only for about 3-4 days). Reached out to the seller to try to return the remaining SIMPATCH patches, only to be informed that the return period has expired, so I’m stuck with them now.

First day using one, and it peeled off, along with my sensor. I bike commute to work, so I sweat a bit. Shouldn't have been enough for the Simpatch to peel right off..... I didn't even get to see if it was waterproof as advertised - it didn't even make it through the sweat test.
