Fantastic!
The media could not be loaded. Wasn’t expecting much from these but there really good and produce a decent crema too which I wasn’t expecting.3 scoops of coffee (about 8g) tamped well down and it makes a decent espresso.Ruined one of the pods by putting the pod the wrong way round and piercing an extra hole when I closed the lever. Oops.

A bit flimsy but does the trick
Great to have the freedom to choose our own coffee without being limited to pods available and to reduce waste. But they are a little bit of extra work, these dont always snap fully closed and have leaked a little. I havent had a great coffee from them yet but Id say its a matter of finding the right coffee to use in them. Overall, happy with them.

Dolce Gusto machines are not all alike?
Tried in my DaLonghi Dolce Gusto machine and lid would not close - didn’t dare to force it. Tried in an older Krups Dolce Gusto machine and it worked perfectly, producing the same amount of foam as my usual capsules. It’s obviously a bit inconvenient to fill and then clean the capsule rather than using a regular disposable one, but better for the environment

Works for me!
I've been using these for unintended purposes but they work for my purpose very well.I have a Dolce Gusto but I'm not much of a coffee drinker anymore and wanted to be able to make Mugs of Tea using the water in the machine from my office instead of needing a kettle. Unfortunately if you don't have a pod in the machine the water goes EVERYWHERE as there is no clear stream for it to follow.Enter these empty pods, position it in the right place, water passes through VOILA nice hot Mug of Tea :D!

Watery coffee, no crema, fragile plastic....not recommended.
The pods would be a good idea if you want to try packets of ground coffee, rather than the boxed range.I personally haven’t been over-happy with the results, even fully loading and tamping them, the flavour was weak over a couple of different coffees and there was no crema.I don’t think they seal well enough to give a proper pressure in the capsule, to extract the flavour - the result, for me was always a bit watery. One of them has already lost the little plastic finger tab to open the pod for cleaning, so I expect the hinge plastic to break soon too.All told - good to try out, but not a great solution and not recommended.

Easy use with favoured blend and no plastic waste.
Product allows me to use my favourite ground coffee blend in my coffee machine without producing more plastic household waste that is hard to recycle. Easy to clean & coffee grounds recycled weekly.

Didn't work well.
IF...and it is a big IF, the capsule lid doesn't pop open under the pressure of hot water/steam, then you get a great cup of coffee. Problem is, they will - sooner or later, they pop open and spill water and coffee everywhere. I've given up using them.

Great once you get the hang of them
These are great for saving the environment and saving money! No, they don’t give exactly the same coffee as a pre-fill capsule but I’m happy with them. I can’t get a slightly foamy top on my coffee with these, and the part that lets the water into the capsule can be fiddly to clean. I’m not confined the lid will stay attached to the capsule as it’s a very thin bit of plastic attaching it. Overall though I am pleased and it’s really saved me a lot of money on my coffee. I would advise people to try different coffees to find their preferred one. Personally I like the espresso Starbucks coffee for mine, I find the stronger ones work best!

Décevant
Les arômes du café ne sont pas au niveau attendu, la première fois que je les ai utilisées, j’ai cru ne pas pouvoir fermer le clapet, il y a une sur épaisseur qui gêne la fermeture normale. Pas terrible. A déconseiller

Nul sans intérêt
Vraiment très déçue par les capsules réutilisables. Laisse du marc de café dans la tasse
